18/12/2025: First customers on reopening day! What can I say...finally! Excellent food! Schiaccina on the house, delicious and plentiful fish dishes, attentive and friendly wait staff, Chef worthy of applause 👏 A mouth-watering dinner, thank you 😉

21/09/2025: Terrible food, we paid for a set menu that included dry, tasteless, and tough baked pasta that I was afraid would break a tooth. Then they served two slices of roast beef, also dry, which I honestly don't know if they turned out that way from reheating them. A small piece of chicken and a small piece of pork chop, both raw inside. Oh, and yes, the menu listed non-existent potatoes. The waiters were kind, but I think the chef is also the owner, who was very rude. We paid a fixed price and forgot about the potatoes. He wanted to offer me coffee, but so I don't have coffee. I asked for a small piece of dessert and was told that I'll give you a €7 dessert? And he threw €10 at me on the table, which I threw back at him. Then, to top it all off, when we left, I assume the cashier had a questionable attitude, even calling us rude. I won't set foot in there again and I don't recommend it.

25/07/2025: I've been coming to Capalbio for 37 years, and Stefano's management is the best. The staff is also sensitive to the concerns of elderly people with hearing disabilities like me and other friends of mine who enjoy visiting. Everything is delicious, and the service is highly professional and kind. Congratulations!

06/04/2026: Dinner booked for a group of nine friends. After a looong wait (even though we arrived after the agreed-upon time at the owner's suggestion, who apparently thought it was better that way because they weren't well-organized to serve everyone), the sandwiches started arriving... all wrong, either it was another table's order, or the waitress made a complete mix-up. The result: we all ate at different times, but after trial and error, we still managed to all eat, and I must say, the burgers were very good and high-quality (as were the fried foods). The service, however, was unacceptable; the waitress had no idea what sandwich she was bringing, and, at first, almost all of them were wrong. I'll conclude by saying that the bill was completely random, and that considering all the mix-ups, it could have been a bit predictable (we weren't charged for the wrong sandwiches, I think, but the owner still went through a lot of trouble while doing the bill). I'd say it's a bit overpriced considering all the fuss. It must be said, however, that he offered us the bitters and I want to repeat, top sandwiches.

15/02/2026: Avoid a huge disappointment. €7 for these Guinnesses is a rip-off. The food is poor and disappointing. The owner is kind and helpful, but inadequate.

21/09/2025: Wine, nothing special, platter with 4 slices of salami, 4 of ham and 4 of cheese for 2 people, €20 per platter, and above all, nothing special, neither the cured meats nor the cheeses... €34 for two glasses of wine and a paltry platter.

17/09/2025: What a fantastic spot! Beautiful view and two delicious sandwiches for lunch. We got pasta and watermelon from the owners, who were also having lunch. They have a very extensive selection, including ice cream and pastries.

15/04/2026: Nice ambience , the wine is good ,but the one I chose was out of stock. The prices were a little higher, so we expected good quality, the pappardelle were extremely over salted, I do not like to complain so I ate it, but when the waiter asked how was the meal, I said that it was very over salted, he checked in the kitchen and came back and said that there was a mistake with the pasta water that there was too much salt. He offered some ice cream but I asked for sorbet. We paid the bill, no apology or discount at point of payment. A lesson to be learnt,is that if you have a problem, fix it before it leaves your restaurant, or it will come back to bite you on the backside. We did not enjoy it, but you may be more lucky. My wife did not complain about her meal, but it was over salted also.

22/03/2026: Finally! For lunch today we rediscovered the flavors we love!!!! Simone, the chef, is a sure thing. The restaurant, one of a kind, offers a very pleasant atmosphere with welcoming and kind staff. It also features a temperature-controlled cellar stocked with a wide variety of wines. Recommended, we'll be back very soon.

07/03/2026: La Taverna is a good trattoria in the center of Orbetello. There are outdoor tables outside the entrance, convenient for a snack with an appetizer and a glass of wine, but you can also stay for lunch or dinner. Inside, the restaurant is simple, with friendly, basic service. The menu offers a good selection of both meat and fish. The fried anchovies are excellent, and the pizza is good. An unpretentious place where you can be sure of good food at a good price. I'd love to return.

07/03/2026: The entrance is a bit dark, but the interior is much more spacious and bright. Enjoyed the daily specials, all excellent. The warm bread was a plus. Fast and courteous service. Highly recommended.
