18/12/2025: A restaurant from another era, located in an apartment on the first floor of a building in the village of Pari, a village well worth a visit. The dishes are excellent, but patience is required: the grill is in the (small) fireplace in one of the dining rooms, and preparation takes a while. The inability to pay by POS and/or credit card is unforgivable, unforgivable, and probably even illegal... The one star for service is due to this serious shortcoming.

08/12/2025: Time passes for everyone, and even the legendary Siro, a few years ago, handed the reins over to his son. While under the old management you could accept the lack of a menu and prices, as well as cash-only payments without a receipt, that's no longer acceptable. And even more so with the prices being much higher than in the past. And the quality of the food isn't what it used to be (except for the cold cuts and steak). I'm not saying the food is bad, especially for those who didn't come here when Siro was there. With him, it was a whole different story, a shame.

18/08/2026: 5/5 stars - Adaptability, friendliness, and excellent pizza! We arrived at Pizzeria La Golosa dal Bandy without a reservation, and the place was packed. Anywhere else would have sent us home, but here they immediately surprised us: they found a folding table and seated us right on the inside edge of the sidewalk! A movie scene that made me smile and gave me a real Ibiza nostalgia moment: it immediately reminded me of the old town of the island, where tables appear out of nowhere in the narrow alleys for tourists to eat and disappear as soon as you've finished. A fantastic, informal, and decidedly summery atmosphere! The staff were exceptional: excellent waiters, kind, friendly, and super attentive to making sure we didn't miss anything. The pizzas arrived almost immediately: a 4 Stagioni and a Capricciosa, both well-cooked, beautifully topped, and truly delicious. All washed down with two nice cold beers and, to top it off, two Sambuca-laced coffees. ​What can I say... the friendly staff, the excellent pizza, and this touch of folklore made the evening a complete success. Highly recommended!

13/08/2026: Good pizza, but more importantly, it was the only pizzeria in the area that accepted our order since all the others were full. The price was slightly above average, but all the pizzas we ordered for takeout met our expectations. Recommended!

22/03/2026: It's rare to find such good pizza dough. Not soggy or rubbery inside, but perfectly baked and crispy on the outside, but not burnt or like a cracker, which is unfortunately often the case. All three different pizzas were a taste sensation, absolutely fantastic.

09/08/2026: The dishes were moderately greasy and lacked clearly defined flavors. Except for the marinated anchovies (a bit thin). We dined with wine on tap because the bottled one had run out 🤔. Fortunately, the cost was reasonable. I recommend participating in Chef Cannavacciuolo's program. Adios

19/07/2026: One because you can't put 0. Also because the pizza didn't arrive, I ordered it, money spent and no pizza. I have to enjoy the World Cup final match without dinner, ordering from another pizzeria after waiting an hour. What am I supposed to say? Huh? Huh? Sorry. 0 stars. Never again.

23/11/2025: Their fried foods are amazing! An easy-to-reach spot, even for an outdoor aperitif. The sandwiches and pasta dishes are also good.

12/11/2025: A delicious and accidental discovery while passing by. Highly recommended, and we'll always remember "that great place" in Grosseto. Pictured: tongue in salsa verde, chicken livers with potatoes, and stew with potato cream.

19/08/2026: A small restaurant with well-spaced tables and a very pleasant and tidy atmosphere. The owner is very courteous and professional. We followed the waiter's advice and had a wonderful time. Anchovies "alla Gigliese" and spaghetti with clams and bottarga. Everything was excellent.

23/07/2026: Many thanks for this bar. The building has a restroom, cloakroom, lockers, and showers. And of course, the food. Delicious. Prices are reasonable. Portion sizes are large and fair for the price. Opening hours: no break after 2 p.m. – it's open all day.

23/07/2026: Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, standard menu, and reasonable prices despite the location. Convenient for a quick bite or between swims, but there's no table service.

08/07/2026: Anyone who loves classic TV series like "A House in Tuscany" will instantly recognize this place. We were regulars in Caldana from 2002 to 2009. Il Borgo Nuova was our favorite place to start the day, and we'd often return for a drink in the evening. We always enjoyed the food, and that's still true after almost 15 years. The food is good, the service is friendly, and it evokes a sense of nostalgia. Everything is a bit quieter now; the whole village strolls through the streets in the evenings, and the festivals are cozy, just like you imagine Tuscany to be. Of course, there are a few new shops, and some are no longer there. But overall, Caldana and Il Borgo Nuova are just as charming as they were 15 years ago.

28/06/2026: We booked a table and waited 40 minutes. No one even looked at us during the entire wait. Unexpected events can happen, but kindness can always make everything less unpleasant.
