05/02/2026: Delicious prosecco / sparkling wine costs 7€ per glass. It’s maybe a bit pricier but got a bread plate and chips with it. Service was excellent, card payment ok. Seating inside and terrace. Cocktails seemed to be 7€ too so maybe visiting again for those.

27/07/2025: Se Vi trovate in Toscana, tappa assolutamente da fare è al Ristorante 'IL CACCIATORE', a Tirli (GR). Sono stata particolarmente colpita, l'esperienza è stata davvero ottima. L' atmosfera è accogliente e il personale molto attento. Il cibo è delizioso, con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la Famiglia che lo gestisce, perché ti fanno sentire 'a casa'. Consigliatissimo!! P.S.: Forse l'unico difetto è che trovate 2 figlioli , belli come il sole ☀️ che vi fanno perdere la concentrazione!!!😂😂. Complimenti a mamma e babbo 😂😂, e grazie a Nicholas e Thomas.

01/01/2026: We spent December 30th and 31st, 2025, in this peaceful, enchanting place, enjoying peace and tranquility. We found the hotel room comfortable and spotlessly clean, overlooking the small square where the chimes of the clock bell marked the hours and transported us back to another era. The restaurant was welcoming and clean, with exceptionally polite and kind staff. Chef Simone, who oversaw the dinner on December 31st, treated us to delicious dishes accompanied by a fine Pitigliano DOC white wine.

19/09/2025: The staff were friendly, but if you don't order the third course, they ask you: "Are you finished yet?" "Not even dessert?" "Already?" I ordered "Zuccia" from the menu. I asked for clarification, and was told, "It's similar to cacciucco." When they brought the bowl of liquid broth with two picturesque celery sticks, I wanted to get up and leave. I'm writing this review so that others don't fall into this same disappointing situation.

04/10/2025: Well, what can I say? It's definitely not a place for classic tourists who want to eat refined dishes like Nouveau Cousin, served with white gloves. Here, they focus on the essentials. If you want to try simple but good food at truly affordable prices, in complete tranquility and with excellent service... Well, this is your ideal place. Enjoy your pizza, everyone. Gli Asini Volano ancora, if you can find them...

23/08/2025: After my experience at this hotel last year, I've reluctantly decided not to vacation in Italy again. I won't even spend a weekend there. I don't question the friendliness of the staff, but the prices for a location like this are insane.

31/08/2025: I can't find a reason not to give 5 stars to everything. Great food, fantastic welcome from the owners and quiet environment with the right amount of privacy for each table. Excellent value for money. I hope to return soon!

28/08/2025: Family dinner to celebrate our son's birthday in an intimate setting. A generous menu, perfectly balanced flavors, and finishing the full three-course meal (appetizer, two first courses that were supposed to be half portions but were actually full portions, tailored for a miner coming off a diet feeling rather pissed off, second course, and side dish) was a challenge! Of course, if you're expecting experiential cuisine, you're wrong. You come here to enjoy good company, pampering yourself with dishes from the past. And, let's be clear, it's experiential cuisine: the mixed roast beef with potatoes tasted exactly like the kiss your grandmother would secretly give you when your parents grounded you. To the legendary couple of managers, innkeepers and cooks, I can only say: don't give a damn about average tastes, and be more daring with some things. I think you'll do great. I'll definitely be back in the company of shady individuals I usually call friends. Threat or promise, I'll leave it up to you to decide! Kisses!
