26/07/2025: Visiting from the U.S. with a large group to study food systems and was invited to dine at this restaurant. Everyone had varying food preferences and the chef was able to create dishes that worked for everyone as a group. The food was stellar and cooked very well, including the seafood. The calamari was some of the best calamari I have ever had -- and coming from the Bay Area where calamari is a mainstay on many menus, I can truly recommend it. I love the olive oil flavors and the exterior dining experience on a pretty quiet side of the street. The wine was equally exceptional, not bitter nor too sweet. If you have pre-existing notions of what American-Italian food is, leave them at home and come visit this restaurant with an open mind. Italian food is not what a typical American may think it is supposed to be, in fact, American-Italian food isn't Italian at all.

08/07/2025: The sea bass gnocco and fried calamari were all very good. The service was friendly and informal. I appreciated Chef Gigi, who popped in from the kitchen to chat with our table.

25/07/2025: I found it by chance on The Fork and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was truly excellent and the staff were very helpful. The appetizers were exquisite, and the wild boar pappardella was truly well-made...just writing this review makes me hungry again...I'd say highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Sinceramente non lo conoscevo e devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta, dove prevale molta attenzione per Il cliente e quel pizzico di semplicità che ti sembra dì stare a casa.Complimenti vivissimi alla signora Gigliola donna sorridente e di buon humor che prepara dèi dolci eccezionali.

06/08/2025: Wonderful experience. Excellent food: the Florentine steak, the cured meats, the desserts, all accompanied by excellent wine. Professionalism and helpfulness were the hallmarks. We really appreciated the explanations about the dishes offered and the friendliness of all the staff. We will definitely be back.

12/07/2025: Ho scoperto un posto bellissimo dove il cuore e la fantasia dei proprietari ha prevalso nel realizzarlo. Un posto unico in un luogo unico! E questo basterebbe per ritornarvi come farò spero a breve. Quanto al servizio veloce e gradevolmente percepito. Gli addetti sono attenti e presenti. La pizza ha margini di miglioramento non guasterebbe fosse un poco più alta per renderla quasi perfetta. Il conto nella norma visto ciò che il locale offre ma capisco alcune lamentele sui prezzi più alti della media locale! Grazie ho passato una serata gradevole e da ripetersi

30/06/2025: Quest'anno siamo saliti un gocciolino troppo di prezzi credo prezzi da riguardare... Misto mare 22 euro follia pura piatto che offriva il giusto credo che al billo ingordo crepò il gozzo in maremma si dice .

29/07/2025: A very, very nice and welcoming place, very kind staff, the owners Viola and Corrado are good and very friendly, fast service. In short, if you come to Orbetello you can't miss stopping by this lovely restaurant. TOP!!!!!

12/07/2025: Let me start by saying that this was the first restaurant I've ever been to... but €18 for a plate of pasta, that's 4 forkfuls, left me disappointed and hungrier than before... not to mention a plate of pasta with tomato sauce for the kids costing €10, crazy...

23/03/2025: Bella scoperta! Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo ristorante per caso, di ritorno da Siena. I proprietari sono gentilissimi, soprattutto Andrea disponibile e accogliente. Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi giusti. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

08/12/2024: Family-run restaurant, so simple and welcoming, with an outdoor veranda that can be used in the summer. Traditional cuisine, more than generous portions. Excellent price/quality ratio. Even though I ate a very substantial meal, I had no digestion problems. I will definitely return.

12/07/2025: The place isn't inviting at all, and I found it depressing... after a less than pleasant initial impression, I have to say I ate REALLY WELL! The price is a bit high, considering the place is a bit too basic and in a far-from-central area. I'd recommend revisiting the furnishings and lighting, and the place would certainly benefit from it, as the eye also wants its share.

05/08/2025: Vedendolo di passaggio sembrava una tipica osteria economica invece prezzi alti servizio lentissimo un maremmano legato davanti al locale che si butta alla gente di passaggio che ha cani non c'è neanche stato tolto i bicchieri dei clienti precedenti abbiamo dovuto chiedere sia acqua che pane che neanche c era stato portato, piatti di serviti diversi non so se sia fatto volutamente, abbiamo preso un antipasto giusto per non andarcene e viene anche chiesto dal proprietario se è andato tutto bene

29/07/2025: One of the best places in Marina di Grosseto. We went twice during our seven-day vacation. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I would recommend the tagliolini, especially the vegetarian one for those who don't eat meat or fish. There's a wide selection, not just the usual grilled eggplant and zucchini. Fantastic.
