14/10/2025: I trusted the good reviews, but I was greatly disappointed. If the staff had asked me, I would have gladly told them in person, but the lady didn't show as much attention to a woman dining alone as she did to the beautiful, well-dressed family at the next table (perhaps a tourist for her?). It's a shame I'm a local but moved abroad. €14 Spaghetti with clams made with BUTTER For me, this is a blasphemy against Italian cuisine because in 15 years of gastronomy, it's never happened to me (only abroad 🥲), and I ate it both out of hunger and because, with my education, I would never have allowed myself to make a fuss. €16 Mixed grilled fish. In Grosseto, I expected at least the shrimp to be fresh. It's a shame they weren't, otherwise they would have been free of black intestines and could have been peeled without much effort. In any case, I fear the rest of the fish hadn't been fresh either, otherwise it wouldn't have been so bland. Maybe it's the wrong day... I think this is the first negative review I've made the effort to write because I have a lot of understanding, being in the industry. But precisely for this reason, when it comes to raw ingredients in Italy, things like this break the heart, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts! I've always been committed to conveying the essence and culture of our extraordinary cuisine (I don't come from any Michelin-starred restaurant), and eating like this when I return to my homeland is unacceptable. I also consumed a bottle of sparkling water. Paid €38. Thinking about it with a clear head after the shock, €8 for water and cover charge? That also smacks of mockery... (Reading other reviews where dessert and a glass of wine were also consumed for €40), but the €8 is irrelevant compared to the pain I felt when I saw clams before my eyes and smelled only butter. I admit I'm writing this with anger because I couldn't wait to enjoy a proper seafood meal, and maybe I chose the wrong dishes, but I still believe that simple things are the best. The staff, probably family-run, is clearly doing their best right from the moment you arrive, but I would have appreciated a little more smile from the lady at the restaurant :) to make me feel more at ease. I hope my experience is an isolated one and doesn't happen to anyone else who loves good, simple, and authentic food like I do.

25/11/2025: It's a restaurant located in an old roadhouse... But it has a beautiful fireplace and serves delicious traditional Maremma food. Few first and second courses, but quality... Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: Santo Stefano's historic bakery. The pizza, schiacciata, and savory dishes are delicious. But the best here is the legendary ricotta and chocolate cake. It also features a soft ricotta and sour cherry crumble, varying in texture and shape, delicious and delicious.

27/07/2025: Se Vi trovate in Toscana, tappa assolutamente da fare è al Ristorante 'IL CACCIATORE', a Tirli (GR). Sono stata particolarmente colpita, l'esperienza è stata davvero ottima. L' atmosfera è accogliente e il personale molto attento. Il cibo è delizioso, con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la Famiglia che lo gestisce, perché ti fanno sentire 'a casa'. Consigliatissimo!! P.S.: Forse l'unico difetto è che trovate 2 figlioli , belli come il sole ☀️ che vi fanno perdere la concentrazione!!!😂😂. Complimenti a mamma e babbo 😂😂, e grazie a Nicholas e Thomas.

19/11/2025: We're in Capalbio, or rather, no: you pass the hamlet of Borgo Carige on the side, and you walk up to the famous village, but you only stop if there's an event going on. And yet, there's (almost) everything, including a small restaurant. I hadn't been there in the last 15 years because it's too close to home, and I wouldn't think of eating out so close. A serious mistake, because the food here is excellent, especially fish, but not exclusively, and you don't have to wash glasses and plates. At the back, hidden from the street, is a covered veranda all year round. The table setting is well-appointed, the service excellent, and the first courses, main courses, and appetizers are all good. I haven't tried the Maremma meat specialties yet. The wine list is interesting, with some from beyond the Alps. Reasonable prices.

10/11/2025: I'd already been to this magical place with two couples of friends and it was a fantastic weekend! Now, 15 years later, I'm back with my husband and I must say it's a real pleasure, absolutely nothing has changed! It feels like paradise: immersed in nature in a place where old-fashioned values ​​prevail, starting with the delicious meals served at large tables, where you have the chance to meet new people every day. There are no TVs in the rooms, and there's no internet service (only in the reception) or phone signal (only TIM). In the evenings, everyone gathers around the fireplace: some play cards or board games, others play guitar, or, in our case, we all found ourselves roasting chestnuts in the fireplace together. The horseback rides are wonderful, from two-hour excursions to multi-day treks. It's absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been; even solo travelers feel completely at ease in the group. I plan to return soon.. I definitely won't wait another 15 years!!

09/11/2025: An oasis of peace surrounded by nature We spent a few days at Agriturismo Il Cornacchino and were thrilled! The place is simply enchanting: immersed in greenery, surrounded by woods and animals, it offers a bucolic and carefree atmosphere, perfect for truly unwinding. The property is meticulously maintained, the rooms clean and welcoming, and the cuisine excellent—simple, authentic, and rich in authentic flavors. We also loved the selection of local spirits at the bar, truly unique! A huge plus is the kindness and warmth of the staff, always available and smiling, who make you feel right at home. Furthermore, Il Cornacchino is dog-friendly: our dog Ozzy had a blast running free and playing in the nature… a true vacation for him too! The location is strategic for visiting the area's main attractions, such as Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Saturnia, and San Casciano dei Bagni. We also tried the riding experience: I rode a horse for the first time and they took me into the woods—an unforgettable moment, in direct contact with nature and these beautiful animals. 21/08/2025: A welcoming and relaxing location, ideal for a lovely evening with your partner or friends, dining with a sea view. The place isn't very large, which ensures a quiet dinner. The friendly owners are able to recommend the daily specials. They truly satisfied our culinary desires. We'll definitely be back for dinner here, as it's one of our favorites.

22/10/2025: …on the occasion of my trip to Tuscany!!…with a group of people!!…from an agency in my city!!…I stopped for lunch here!!…at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…so I am in Capalbio!!…and I am precisely three kilometers away!!…and this structure is located!!…in a quiet location!!…immersed in the wonderful nature of the Tuscan Maremma!!…I was served a good appetizer!!…a good first course!!…followed by the second course and then a fantastic tiramisu!!…all typical products!!…with the true flavor of Tuscany!!…dishes brought to the table by the owner!!…he did everything!!…zero waiting time!!…what can I say!!…I ate really well!!…here at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…the authentic dishes of Tuscan cuisine!!…yes!!!…I would gladly go back again!!…🍽️🎉👌💯🔝⬆️‼️

22/09/2025: I was invited for a family dinner and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, being local, I hadn't heard much about this place in the past, but my experience was decidedly different. The appetizers—seafood salad and octopus salad—were excellent. The fried fish was crispy, dry, not greasy, and served in generous portions for the price. The tagliolini with clams were truly exquisite, and the tuna steak, accompanied by roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables, was simply sublime. It's true: sometimes you don't appreciate the quality of the food. Personally, I prefer to spend a few euros more but enjoy a properly cooked dinner—and here the prices are more than fair for the excellent quality. Compliments to the entire staff: well done, well done, and still well done! This place will surely become a great destination for those looking for good dinners.

19/09/2025: Impeccable service from the owner, who explains what you're eating. Excellent ingredients used. Special mention for the pasta dish and the tuna. The sweet and sour liqueurs (house-made) are superb.

13/09/2025: Excellent quality meat, perfectly cooked, efficient, friendly, and attentive staff. The restaurant is well-kept and surrounded by lush greenery—kudos to the attention to detail! We had a lovely evening with friends and two small children; there's plenty of room for strollers.

07/11/2025: We came here today for a quick business lunch and found the ladies super friendly and the dishes excellent. The mixed crostini were simple but delicious, the tortelli were good, and the pici with mushrooms and sausage were very good. I also found the house wine pleasant. When we're back in the area, I definitely think I'll be back to try the main courses.

05/11/2025: Excellent food, we had pizza on the first day and a regular main course with side dishes and drinks on the second. Excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Don't ask me why I took a picture of the dwarves, but they were too nice not to immortalize them 🤣 A little far from Sardinia, where we live; otherwise, we would have gladly returned. Everything was top-notch.

14/10/2025: Let's start with the service, we were welcomed with a smile and kindness, the lady proved to be very professional, never letting us and our dog lack anything... the food was fantastic... a 10 for the pappardella with hare and the tiramisu... very low price... welcoming place... nice surprise... we will not miss the opportunity to return... very well done...
