14/09/2024: Intimate place, excellent food and special dishes, I don't understand the people who go to fill tourist restaurants and don't consider this place.

09/09/2024: Pleasant place in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia... very intimate and pleasant place (for a couple) Courteous and kind, the Starred Chef cooks at the top... I highly recommend, I came back specifically to eat excellent food... excellent prices... I recommend to couples and families...

However, the interior is pleasant, calm, familiar, especially if after a while you make friends with the always super helpful managers. Truly special food. Excellent quality ingredients cooked with expert skill without overdoing it. Superfine desserts. Excellent wines from every part of Italy. Great choice of spirits…. You leave full, satisfied and with excellent flavors in your mouth, but then be careful, there must be a sober driver... once for one it's everyone's turn...

02/03/2025: L'osteria sembra quasi nascondersi tra abitazioni private e qualche capannone. Ma non lasciatevi ingannare!! Una volta all'interno l'accoglienza calorosa di Ezio il titolare , ed in particolar modo i suoi piatti vi faranno dimenticare immediatamente la prima impressione che avete avuto . Piatti preparati con prodotti stagionali e rigorosamente territoriali, presentati in modo professionale ed accattivante. Si puo iniziare da salumi accompagnati da una ottima giardiniera fatta in casa. A seguire pici con fonduta di pecorino e tartufo. Ottime le polpettine di cinta su letto di purè di patate con asparagi selvatici a km. zero. Trippa alla maremmana con contorno di fagioli piattellini. Per terminare oltre a dolci fatti in casa una ulteriore chicca: la lista di diversi tipi di caffè. Varia e ricca la lista dei vini con buona scelta di etichette del territorio

26/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato all’ultimo e ci hanno accolto benissimo, gentili e disponibili. Pizza molto buona e super veloci. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.

11/03/2025: Hospitality, availability and good food: what more could you hope for for a travel stop? We ate an amazing instantly cooked pizza, so good that we repeated it even though we were in a hurry!

20/10/2024: So we found this Italian restaurant by chance and we were not disappointed. Sometimes the best places have the least exposure, this is one of them. The name might not do it justice but the food definitely does. This has to be one 0f the best pizzas I have ever had in Italy that, and the wine, was amazing. It has the typical feel of an Italian restaurant but it is a hidden gem that is worth visiting if you are in the area. They speak English and the ambience is very relaxed and laid back. The staff are friendly and very helpful. From my experience, a great evening, great pizza and definitely value for money.

15/12/2024: Local located on the port of Scarlino which in the summer offers a beautiful view. Inside it has an atmosphere all its own. The menu is based on fish with quality products cooked according to tradition without too many reinterpretations. A special mention for the service goes to the efficient and very kind young waiter. The wine list is interesting. Gluten-free pasta available. The bill is not cheap, but commensurate with the quality and freshness of the products used.
