09/08/2025: A charming restaurant overlooking the boats and marina of Villasimius.

08/08/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times, and I've verified that what appears to be a coincidence is actually intentional and therefore very unfair towards some customers, mistakenly deemed to have a poor appetite due to their appearance. I'm referring to the food portions: I'm regularly served a plate of pasta much smaller than the other diners' simply because I'm slim. Aside from the fact that my appearance shouldn't in any way concern you or influence my portion, the price remains the same, and therefore I have the right to be served the same as everyone else. The last time I was a guest, I didn't want to raise the issue, but everyone at the table noticed the unequal treatment. Furthermore, my plate was a different color than the others, and the waiter was placing it in front of another diner since we'd all ordered the same plate of pasta. When he realized the mistake, he switched it with mine, which was identical except for the size. I'm disappointed because the food was quite good, but such behavior is unacceptable.

10/07/2025: We went for lunch and arrived just as they were closing, yet the chef invited us in, cooked for us, and served us himself in a very personal and professional manner. He was very friendly and showed us places to visit in Tuscany. The food was delicious, it took no time at all to prepare, and he was attentive to us at all times. He served us delicious appetizers. He even played Spanish music for us to feel at home. We highly recommend it! 👌🏼👌🏼

13/07/2025: Refined food and top-quality service. The dishes are carefully crafted and exquisite; the Florentine steak is one of the best in the area. The staff is attentive to their guests' needs and extremely friendly. It's definitely a must-visit for those who love good food. Last but not least, the delightful setting, nestled in the Maremma countryside where time seems to have stood still.

24/07/2025: Bello! Grande! Locanda Rossa is a magnificent place, very well maintained with a very attentive team, understanding of my partial command of Italian and English. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to junior following our arrival. We had taken the Garden Tarots package to visit the nearby museum. The concierge booked the tickets and shuttle rides for us. On site, the swimming pool and sports facilities are top. The decor is sublime. Everything was perfect, we will be back 🤗

20/07/2025: Spent three nights while visiting southern Tuscany. It’s a beautiful hotel, nicely located if you plan to visit other small towns around and the coast. We found the concierge super friendly and helpful sorting out our beach reservations, the rest of staff perhaps not as friendly, we found them a bit cold and dry. Nice gym and good swimming pools for both adults only and children.

21/07/2025: The place isn't very large, but there's a bit of seating both inside and out. The rice flour fried food is excellent, really light and easy to digest. Prices are reasonable considering it's in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia.

17/07/2025: On vacation, we stumbled upon this charming, youthful, and colorful little place that offers a seafood menu unlike any other restaurant. The sandwiches are delicious, but not only that: the place is extremely inclusive, offering vegetarian options, options for celiacs, and options for those who prefer more traditional sandwich options like sliced meats, fried fish, and tartare. If I lived here, I'd go at least once a week! NB: Fast service. Which doesn't hurt!

06/08/2025: A very nice place just steps from the Grosseto walls. Delicious, light food with generous portions at a great price. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Chinese, Japanese, and Thai options available.

27/07/2025: The pizza was definitely good, with excellent ingredients, but the crust was shallow, so it's a bit far from being "Neapolitan" as a true "Southerner." The service seemed excellent, but when I asked for a pizza that wasn't made as requested, the waitress started arguing and said it was my wife in particular who hadn't specified (I'm sorry, but she misunderstood, and there's no way you'd argue or argue with the customer; that's not the case, it's just not right, you just change it if you don't like it). Rustic atmosphere. Very competitive prices.
