We came from Ireland, have zero Italian and ordered on a whim using terrible google translations. It was AMAZING. And the server was very friendly and patient with us. Highly recommended. Authentic Italian food.

Discovered this gem on vacation in Empoli. The dishes change daily. The food is so delicious, we returned almost every night. I highly recommend the poppa al latte with sage. The atmosphere is small and welcoming. The owner is friendly and knows his stuff. I recommend reserving a table.

A truly special place, excellent cuisine

We had dinner here for the first time, and I have to say we had a great time. The place is cozy and intimate. We ordered two platters of traditional cured meats and cheeses, and the crostini are amazing, with so many different options. Then we ordered the homemade tagliolini with truffle—no, really, it's special. Besides the delicious food, the service was impeccable, efficient, thanks to the very kind and friendly young man who even recommended wine pairings for our dishes. To finish, we ordered dessert: a homemade fig and walnut jam tart—delicious!! Very good value! I highly recommend it because you can really see that everything they do is done with heart and love for cooking and enjoying life. Congratulations, and see you soon.

Homemade food and nice atmosphere.

A gastronomic gem just steps from the Empoli train station! The pappa al pomodoro and chicken liver crostini are extraordinary, and the Chianina and Cinta Senese meatballs with tomato sauce are pure poetry...highly recommended!
