Excellent experience. The appetizers were plentiful and full of truly delicious ingredients, not from supermarkets. The first courses were also excellent and plentiful. Nice location, super friendly and helpful staff. Prices are in line with those in Florence, a little high, but they become really good with the discount via the app. Recommended!

The food was good, but nothing special that I'd return for. The appetizer prices were a bit steep (€5 for four slices of salami).

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was out the night we were there, but the food was excellent! Stop by and try the menu; it's worth it!

We had dinner at Mattacena as a couple and had a great time. The all-you-can-eat grilled meat concept is truly excellent: cockerel, sausage, ribs, and good-quality steak, all well-cooked and flavorful. One thing I really appreciated was that they always bring fresh meat with every round, without rushing you with appetizers to fill you up—something many do and that ruins the experience. The side dishes (especially the roast potatoes) were very good. The service wasn't impeccable (we waited a bit for water even though it wasn't very crowded), but overall the staff were attentive and friendly. The setting is very nice, well-kept, and in perfect Florentine style, with wooden tables and a warm atmosphere. The only downside is that the air gets a little too warm after a while. Recommended for a hearty and satisfying carnivorous dinner! 👍

It's a restaurant where the food is good; the meat is excellent. The service was very good. The waiter speaks to you in Spanish or Italian, depending on your preference. And he's very friendly. Highly recommended if you arrive around 2:00 or 2:30 pm and want to eat in Florence.

The taste of the steak was extremely delicious! That was the most perfect steak I’ve ever eaten in my life.thank you for all! Staff was kind as well. And when we left, he gave us a cantucci as a kind gift. (We say that “ikram”) Of course it was also tasty🫠
