Vaca Loka In Firenze

After years I returned to the restaurant, unfortunately there is no longer that wide variety of typical Peruvian dishes, on the other hand the beautiful atmosphere of the past has remained.

We were going to Florence and looking for something familiar, and found this place! It was a block away from our hotel and everything about it was exactly what we were looking for. The food is amazing, authentic, delicious, and the servings are generous. The people are phenomenal, kind, and patient with those who don’t speak Italian or Spanish. Inside has AC, outside patio is comfortable, it smells as good as it looks and tastes even better. If you like Peruvian food, or are just craving rice, beef, or chicken, this place has you covered. Thank you to the owners and staff for making this place so great and so special for the community, and for visitors like myself.

IF YOU'RE LATIN AMERICAN... (OR IF YOU WANT A GOOD FOOD...) this is the place... on the outskirts of Florence's tourist area... Friendly service... everything impeccable... colorful decor without being over the top... Menu with REAL photos... (prices of traditional drinks are missing...) Spacious dining room... perfect if you're just passing through without a reservation. The dishes are generous and of excellent quality. It makes you want to come back... that's really, really good! It's so nice to feel well taken care of... cordial... friendly... It will be a must-visit in this city when we're passing through for work... TIP: share dishes so you can try more things! (Start with the salchipapas... but they're enough to share among 4 people!)

Highly recommended, excellent food and generous portions, very friendly and helpful waiters, and reasonable prices. We enjoyed a delicious ceviche and tiger jelly. The homemade desserts included a superb crème brûlée and a chocolate torte.

Typical Peruvian hospitality, an energetic owner passionate about service and food. My husband felt at home in his mother's kitchen because the food was abundant, the service attentive and joyful but most important all dishes were delicious and fresh.

It tastes much better than white food; the fried rice is fragrant, salty, and has a wok-fried aroma, but the overall price is on the high side.

Juan Jesús's service is very pleasant and efficient, attentive at all times, and the restaurant's atmosphere is very comfortable. I recommend the restaurant for its variety of food and the efficiency of its staff. 😁
