Reading the excellent reviews, our expectations were really high. The restaurant's location was excellent. Right off the A1 motorway at Barberino del Mugello, it's a restaurant that certainly does a lot of traffic. The staff were very friendly, but we felt they were fake-friendly. We heard the waiter who served us complain after serving other tables. We ordered pici and an appetizer, and after 2 minutes they brought everything to us. For the type of first course, I'd say the pici were a bit too quick (precooked pici!?). The tagliata was passable, a little tough, but it arrived lukewarm. Of course, this is just our personal impression, otherwise it wouldn't have all the super-positive reviews.

We arrived without a reservation right at lunchtime, and were seated almost immediately. The place is beautiful, well-kept, and clean. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. They even gave us some excellent recommendations. Thank you so much.

Excellent 1kg Florentine steak for two. Fried mushrooms and roast potatoes. A good red wine and a dessert. Everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Quick lunch on the way back from vacation. Despite it being crowded, we waited no more than 10 minutes for a table (there were two of us). Fast service and friendly staff. Excellent appetizers and excellent grilled meat. Truly satisfied.

If you're passing through Barberino del Mugello, this is a must-visit. Superb cuisine featuring traditional dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, helpful staff. Fast service and fair prices. I highly recommend it.

06/08/2026: I go often and they never disappoint. The cuisine is typically Tuscan. I recommend the peposo all'imprunetina with potatoes; I usually order it and it's delicious, well-cooked, and the quality of the meat is excellent. As soon as you walk in, they always have some kind of cake, either custard or cream with strawberries on top. I've never tried it, but it's tempting. The location is lovely, at the foot of Mount Salviatino. Prices are in line with similar restaurants. They also have a fish dish on the menu, the rest is meat-based, and some even have vegetarian options.
04/08/2026: Nothing to complain about, the place is as it should be. Everything was perfect, even when, last night, despite some issues with the online reservation, which they hadn't been aware of, they still gave us a table for ten. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.
