This hidden trattoria is nestled in a corner of Piazza Peruzzi in Florence's old town. The menu, written on a blackboard, is truly an extension of home cooking, and I enjoyed a rosemary-scented galette and mushroom risotto. While their careful use of Tuscan ingredients is evident, the overall flavor profile was somewhat lacking; I honestly felt it needed a little more. The two rooms, seating about 40 people, have a calm atmosphere reminiscent of a wine cellar, and the presence of many locals creates a pleasant ambiance. I would honestly like to commend the reasonable prices for a tourist destination like Florence. Grazie 🍷

A good place to eat, quiet, and the food was delicious. We went on the recommendation of our guide. There were four of us, and we decided to order the steak. It weighed 1.2 kilos and came with baked potatoes (which, in my opinion, were a bit oily, but tasty). We all ate from that dish, even though it said it was for two people. Before cooking the steak, the waiter came over to ask us how we wanted it cooked. Excellent service. We spent 80 euros and also ordered water and wine.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Italy. Fresh pasta and sauces were absolutely divine. In addition to the food service was excellent and vibes unbeatable. If you’re looking for great food at incredible value, look no further.

The quality-price ratio in Florence was perfect; the steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, the place was very nice and we were served by a super friendly young lady

15/03/2026: Their paninis are definitely worth trying; the customer service is amazing, offering samples of their cold cuts so you can choose your favorite. 100% recommended.
12/03/2026: This is a place where you have to mix and match the ingredients yourself. That means if you fail at combining them, it might actually taste terrible. Don't add the spicy sauce... though the bread was delicious. Also, a panini costs 12 euros.
