11/08/2025: We stayed a few days and had a great time. The rooms are simple and, in my opinion, could use some updating. However, the service is top-notch and the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

10/08/2025: We were guests in this corner of paradise, immersed in tranquility. Thanks to its strategic location, we were able to easily combine moments of absolute relaxation by the pool with visits to the various neighboring villages...just what we were looking for! The perfect breakfast on the enchanting porch, the romantic and welcoming rooms, and the truly super attentive staff, especially Augusta and Alessandro, made us feel pampered with invaluable advice on the area. What can I say... if you're looking for a place to completely disconnect from everyday life, forgetting even the time and day, this is the place for you! See you soon.

30/07/2025: Teatro Theatre and Wine Bar, is like being perched on the edge of Heaven! I had both lunch and dinner on 2 different days, and the food was so tasty! The evening dinner with wine flowing and the seafood dinner was exquisite follows up by desert of schiacciunaa, and old world recipe. My favorite desert was the made in the restaurant, Tiramisu! I wish I could dine there weekly.

07/08/2025: We organized a blind dinner with a couple of friends and I must say that it exceeded expectations. A really nice and welcoming place. Large motorcycle parking. Nice outdoor area for summer dining. Staff always smiling, polite and ready to smile. And what can I say about the food... excellent, I would say we ate for 10 and even the wine did its part! We'll be back soon!

Maestoso crudo di pesce, spaghettini alle arselle fresche fa-vo-lo-si, un buon dentice al forno con le olive e patate. Tutto freschissimo e ben presentato. Servizio impeccabile fatto da giovani preparati. Abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di vino inusuale e la temperatura non era perfetta. Prezzi accettabili in proporzione alla grande qualità. 14/08/2025: August 14, 2025, all sunbeds and umbrellas on the beaches are reserved for locals. Italians are all on holiday in August, so there's practically no room for tourists at the beach facilities. So a day at the beach with shade is currently out of the question in this entire area. Shit🙈

09/07/2025: We were very impressed from polite and professional service we received. Joanna was helpful and charming lady who is training to do his best to feel you comfortable and relaxed. The room was clean.

27/06/2025: Gem. Layout is perfect. Large spaces felt like you were not sharing the space with others. Staff and management was next level and personable. Would come back for the views, privacy, and for the friends I made with the staff. They offer weddings and thinking of renewing my 18 year relationship here.

24/06/2025: Compliments for the philosophy they carry forward… tasting of their own and quality products. In addition to food, only wine and fruit juices made by them are also available to drink. We tried almost all the cooked dishes, pappa al pomodoro, panzanella, beans, tripe… everything delicious. Compliments.

23/06/2025: If you come to Castiglione this restaurant is unmissable. Traditional Maremma food. We had dinner for two nights, the specialties to taste were too many. Exquisite food. The owner was very friendly and was able to recommend traditional dishes. Raw materials of excellent quality. Highly recommended also as a quality-price ratio. We will definitely be back.

17/08/2025: Ferragosto lunch, a very welcoming and clean location, excellent service with friendly and helpful staff. The seafood menu was truly delicious, with a warm seafood appetizer: black tortelli stuffed with grouper in a shrimp ragù (delicious), and the crispy, dry fried fish with a lovely variety. The prices were reasonable, especially considering it was Santa Maria. Highly recommended.

24/06/2025: We tried three different types of mussels and they were all really good: very fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. The octopus was a very pleasant surprise – tender, fresh and perfectly prepared. The yogurt sauce gave it a light and balanced touch, making the dish refined but at the same time tasty. Accompanied by a good glass of white wine, it was a truly enjoyable dinner. The desserts also proved to be up to the rest of the meal: well presented, delicious and prepared with care. A round of applause also to the staff: kind, helpful and at the same time very professional. Attentive and friendly service, which really makes the difference. Congratulations!

Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di assaporare numerose pietanze, tra cui le cozze, che si sono rivelate particolarmente eccellenti. Oltre alla specialità delle cozze preparate in molteplici modi, il menù offre un’ampia selezione di piatti a base di pesce sempre di alta qualità e alcune opzioni dedicate agli amanti della carne. La qualità del cibo è ottima e la carta dei vini propone una vasta scelta proveniente da cantine rinomate. Raccomando vivamente questo ristorante per qualsiasi occasione, sia pranzo che cena. Saremo lieti di tornarvi nuovamente.

12/08/2025: There was something about this place that attracted me, perhaps its authenticity compared to others. I was with my wife and our son, who lives and works here during the summer. We were greeted by a very friendly islander, whose warmth made us feel immediately at ease, as if we were at home. We didn't have a huge appetite, so we decided to just order some first courses. I opted for spaghetti alla chitarra with octopus, my wife chose penne all'arrabbiata, and my son had the classic tortellini with meat sauce. While we waited, the friendly gentleman who welcomed us kept us company, bringing us delicious bread. In less than fifteen minutes, the dishes were already on our table. My spaghetti was a real surprise. I expected a meat sauce, but instead I found pieces of octopus in a sauce fragrant with fresh cherry tomatoes. A simple but extremely tasty dish, which I happily polished off, mopping up the sauce with the legendary "scarpetta" (bread). My wife's penne had just the right touch of chili pepper, while my son's tortellini were generous and rich in ragù, so much so that they also required a generous mopping up of the sauce. With a glass of white wine, water, and coffee, the bill came to between €50 and €60. A more than reasonable price, given that the first courses were so generous (the octopus pieces were worthy of a second course) that they filled us completely. The setting is rustic and welcoming, with the open kitchen creating a convivial atmosphere. Our host's hospitality was the icing on the cake. If I have the chance to return, this place will be my first choice.

29/07/2025: Going to this restaurant was such an amazing experience. The interior design is lovely. The staff served us in a very nice and professional way. But still, the highlight was the food. The bistecca and truffle beans were heavenly good. Also, my girlfriend arranged this night for my birthday and requested to have a prosecco upon arrival. They fulfilled our request and even gave the prosecco for free as a birthday gift. Absolute 10/10 experience.

28/07/2025: Nice restaurant, friendly staff considering the busy holiday season. We waited a bit before being seated despite having reservations, but I can understand why, as there weren't enough waiters for the number of customers. The Peposo al Sangiovese was excellent.
