Very good Fiorentina but quite high price.

Friendly atmosphere. Exceptional meat accompanied by a truly outstanding Brunello.

We were recommended this place and went. Good food, excellent service, high price, small space, noisy, and there's a wait.

We arrived on Sunday, June 28th at 9:00 PM (with a reservation for 9:30 PM). The service was perfect and the food excellent, featuring typical Florentine dishes. The setting was attractive with beautiful decor. Thank you to Firas for the excellent service. I highly recommend it. Try the wild boar pasta!

A really nice moment, phenomenal food and kind staff. We had a good laugh with our table neighbours, a must visit for Florence first timers.

I can't wait to return to my favorite Florentine osteria! The smell of those flavors in the air makes you imagine the menu and I can't wait to taste it! From the super delicious aperitif served while you wait outside (for those who couldn't make a reservation) to the typical first courses, all the way to the unforgettable Florentine steak! Traditional food: The cuisine focuses on the great Tuscan classics, prepared with meticulous care. The mixed antipasti, pappa al pomodoro, and meat dishes are excellent. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and lively, ideal for dinners with friends where you can breathe in the authentic Florentine atmosphere. Hospitality: Many praise the friendliness of the staff, who often offer a glass of wine or a sample to waiting guests.

I went about 5 minutes before opening time on a weekday evening, but the area in front of the restaurant was already packed with people who had reservations. You can make a reservation online, so it's best to do so (I don't think you'll get in without one). Customers rushed to the entrance as soon as the restaurant opened, but there was no need to rush. If you have any questions, the casually dressed staff will kindly recommend the menu. They are famous for their T-bone steak, but it's so big that it's barely enough for two adult men to finish. When I asked the staff, they recommended a smaller portion of the same meat, which is the one in the picture, but it's a sufficient size for one person. The steak was cooked extremely rare (probably this is the default, as they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked). The three items in the picture + beer + water cost €62.

Today something magical happened - which can only be described as „people are amazing“ My wife and I came to Il Latini, after a very disappointing dinner at another restaurant, just for the chance to eat their amazing Tiramisu. Whys that - three years ago we have been there and had had an amazing dinner with an extra ordinary tiramisu. Many restaurants would send us away (it was 21:50) - but not here. We were welcomed as long known guests, were offered coffee, drinks and of course the tiramisu. It was amazing we were so happy and saved the evening. As we asked for the check we were completely surprised- instead of the bill we received a hand written card. Inviting to host us next year for at least another Tiramisu. We were blown away - thank you so much for this experience. It was absolutely amazing. Whenever we will Visite Florence again this is the restaurant to Visite. I suggest everyone else to do the same. Managed to get a table at the last minute and so glad we did! An absolutely amazing all-round experience. We got the chianina Florentine menu - warning, it's a LOT of food so be hungry! - and proceeded to enjoy a multi-course evening of traditional food. Everything was selected for quality, including our waiters whose conviviality ensured we left full and happy. The chianina was a real surprise, and the stand out. The two sides of the t-bone had very different flavours (not just texture), and it was hard to pick a favourite part. Wine menu is fabulous too - wines for all price points and palates (loved the half bottle of moscato). I'm glad we did the set menu as we got to taste a variety of dishes, but unless you're really hungry, go with the steak and order a couple of starters/ sides. Booking is essential and easy to do online. A crowd will gather at opening, and there was still a crowd hoping to get in at 9.30pm. What really sticks out is how important it was to the staff that we enjoy ourselves. They were so apologetic when a large group came in as we finished dessert (and brought with them about 10 extras they hadn't booked for - the staff handled it incredibly professionally), and were worried we'd felt rushed (not in the slightest). It was impressive to see how they managed such an unexpected situation and highlighted how consistently good the service is.

Classic Florentine, very high quality meat, for connoisseurs!
