Great wine menu but rude maitre' d made us feel unwelcome .Food aso doesn't meet fantastic wine menu. Waiting staff (non Italian) was smarmy.

Old school Italian restaurant with good but not amazing food. Service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was visually nice but felt a bit stuffy. The Steak Fiorentina and potatoes were the highlight for me, pasta and other dishes were solid but nothing to rave about.

We chose to eat lunch on a weekday at this highly respected restaurant. No reservation was needed for lunch. We were seated immediately in the quaint dining room decorated with hanging pots, pans, and musical instruments. The waitstaff were excellent in serving our drinks and efficiently taking our order. Unfortunately, the food was just so-so (not what I had anticipated from a Michelin starred restaurant). My tortellini soup could have used some seasoning and neither my wife or I could identify the meat inside the pasta. My wife’s tordelli pasta was better but again nothing special. The restaurant has a 3.5 euro per person coperto (service charge) added to your bill.

Pranzato con mia moglie il 1 novembre. Io prendo una zuppa di farro ed una guancia di manzo. Mia moglie sceglie una vellutata di zucca e la zuppa di farro. Piatti buoni, anche se mi aspettavo una guancia un po'piu morbida. Servizio cortese e professionale. Conto giusto. Tornerei per provare i primi e qualche altro secondo.

22/12/2023: I cannot believe that if it wouldn’t have been for the rain we haven’t found this amazing restaurant. The atmosphere was so cozy and the service so friendly and welcoming. I had one of the best pasta in Italy, so fresh, so tasty that would come back over and over again
