02/08/2025: Nine of us arrived on a Saturday lunchtime and found a table easily. Very fair prices and a wide selection of piadinas. Fast and friendly service! We'll definitely be back!

26/06/2025: The food was incredible and for the price of everything it was really worth the money in every way. We had bread, slices of pizza dough with herbs and tomato sauce and prosecco to start, all complementary. We then had the octopus pasta whichw as so filling, so much octopus and so delicious. We also had the tuna and roasted vegetables as a second dish which was cooked beautifully. We finished with the pistachio tiramisu to share and it was incredible. We had the house wine for 15 euros a bottle which was also really good - you can never go wrong with house wine in Italy! All in all the food and timing of the service was great and the atmosphere felt chique and warm at the same time. The o ly downsides are that it was very warm outside with no fans or any cooling (34 degrees was a bit much and even hotter inside) and the staff were a bit standoffish and not so friendly. They indeed did their job well, but even with the locals it felt a bit too strict service, it's okay to have a joke and smile but this was definitely not the case here. Edit - went back for takeaway pizza and the half British half Italian waitress was lovely!!

23/07/2025: We'd been walking for over 40 minutes in Livorno, starting from Terrazza Mascagni, in search of the "life/nightlife" this city doesn't seem to offer. It was well after 10:00, and luckily we found this pizzeria with the oven still on. The place is very quiet; despite the crowds, the atmosphere is relaxed. The service was quick, and the pizza, for those who prefer thin crust to Neapolitan, was good. They're pet-friendly. The only downside, if you want to call it that because I know it might bother some, is that they serve a delicious focaccia as an appetizer, which costs €4 in lieu of a cover charge.

13/08/2025: One star isn't so much for the food, which I consider neither good nor bad, and with average-quality products, but rather for the service and the way they wanted the money! Let's start with the service, which was incredibly fast, unfortunately, in everything, including clearing away the unfinished dishes. If it were just one dish, that would be fine, but two would be a complete no-go. They took away the unfinished octopus pasta they wanted us to share so we could try it. I had a messy cannoli, started eating it, then got up to go to the other side of the table for a chat, and in no time at all, the cannoli I was supposed to finish was gone, and besides, I still had the spoon in my hand 😅. The funny thing is, in the confusion, you don't even have time to tell the waitress to stop; I didn't even notice the dessert. Oh well, never mind! The biggest problem was with the bill, not so much the amount, which was more or less average, but the manner and brazenness with which they demanded the money. We were a group of 7 people; some paid in cash, others by card. LISTEN, LISTEN! They demanded an extra €5 per person for those who paid by card. Essentially, we split the bill by 7; some spent €40, others €45. And they weren't even ashamed to ask for an extra €5! The justification was that commissions are expensive. I WONDER!? IS THIS LEGAL?? I'm one of those who paid by card, but I didn't argue. I paid and kept quiet, promising they'll never see me again and that I definitely won't recommend anyone to eat here!

13/07/2025: A lovely old-fashioned pastry shop, with a lovely counter of pastries, cakes, cookies, and even ice cream. You can have lunch in the dining room, and the space is available for rent for parties. The coffee is delicious!

16/08/2025: We toured the winery, had a tasting, and had a lunch that was nothing short of exceptional. Alessio looked after us throughout and was fantastic. The quality was top-notch and the prices fair. Highly recommended!

16/08/2025: One word: wow! Beautiful wine yard set in the hills of Greve in Chianti with an exquisite and intimate restaurant. The food was excellent and is something we will truly cherish looking back at this experience. Big thank you to Frédéric who showed us around the wine yard and shared his in depth knowledge about the wine making process - making it both fun and interesting for two Chianti beginners!

14/07/2025: The only bar like this in Lucca with big names at the right price and super good breakfasts, aperitifs and wonderful cakes. A Sicilian tells you this, fabulous atmosphere, wonderful friendly staff and everything, I feel at home when I'm in that place.

13/08/2025: If you order a steak for 89 euros for 1.5 kg, it should melt in your mouth, and THAT WASN'T THE CASE. I think this trend of serving it on stone should be abolished (Florence bears witness). You can add 3 more euros to the "Le Volte" wine, and that's fine... but when I come to pay, make me feel "treated well." If the bill is 193, how can you really charge exactly 193? I won't be back like this... I spent too much for the quality. There are things very close to 100 times more competitive, my sincere advice: earn those 10/15 euros less but make the customer feel "that you are there for them" so they feel "special" and are more willing to come back. Very nice location and very kind waiters. When we arrived around 10:30-10:45 PM, there was a small lounge at the cash register, and as soon as we arrived, a woman (cook/cook's assistant) was sitting outside on a bench with a can of Coke, probably smoking a cigarette. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're not professional, lower the prices. Good luck!

09/08/2025: Well we tried to have a sit , we saw there a plenty free tables even inside , the time was 20:45 they are closing at 21:30 , they refused us treat us like no one , you should have reservation like you are going to Hilton hotel , but it’s small little restaurant , the personnel are awful they just don’t want to listen to you , they are very lazy ! I would not recommend this restaurant, we tried next restaurant like 100 m away they also has fully booked but they said nicely to wait and we waited we got a place like normal restaurant in the world! And please owner don’t talk nonsense, we have proof so don’t explain how you are right ! 1 for service, 1 for food because we didn’t try it , atmosphere again because of the personal, even they don’t smile like typical happy Italian

27/07/2025: The atmosphere is out of place and time. The food is average, but still excellent value; but I guarantee you'll forget you're eating! A non-stop spectacle, run by the genius and madness of Manuel, assisted by the entire staff. Sharp and intelligent wit, pure comedy. Don't underestimate the rich collection of historical artifacts that surround it all, creating a magical museum where you feel like a protagonist. Go to Ka Voi, not as diners, but as authentic people who want to live an exciting experience.
