Great professionalism and courtesy, genuine and never forced. We felt welcomed and pampered. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, and it shows. The staff is always available, ready to meet the customer's needs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Almost all dishes can be requested in a gluten-free version, yet the flavors remain excellent. I'll conclude by emphasizing that the portions and prices are absolutely adequate. Highly recommended for celiacs and non-celiacs alike!

Perfect evening, perfect location, exceptional service. Perhaps a little too crowded, but it was worth it. The lady who served us was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommended.

My expectations were a bit dashed. The dishes were tasty, but the portions, in my opinion, were on the small side. I wasn't entirely sold on the trio of tartares, with their very subtle flavors. The handmade pasta dishes, on the other hand, were delicious and well-balanced. The staff were very kind and attentive, and the quality/price ratio was decent.

We stopped for lunch and it was a pleasant experience. Attentive and courteous service. The food was truly delicious, with exceptional meat and great attention to gluten-free options. As a celiac, being able to choose from the menu so freely is truly a luxury. The gluten-free filled pasta was delicious. It will become a regular stop whenever we pass through.

Immersed in total confusion, we ate well...but perhaps paid a little too much. The food was excellent...an appetizer (a platter of cured meats and cheese); a meat-based main course...with a bottle of red wine...an amaro = 55 each.

29/03/2026: Authentic flavors, quality ingredients, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Nothing better for a light but tasty lunch, finished with the excellent "Dolce tipici di Arezzo" (typical dessert of Arezzo), which I highly recommend.
07/03/2026: A pleasant discovery! Worth a return visit to Arezzo for a second helping. Simple cuisine with high-quality ingredients, a warm welcome, and excellent service. We'll be back soon!

05/06/2026: Absolutely beautiful little placed tucked into Cortona! The food is authentic and made with great care by the wonderful chef/owner, Liliana. We had a fantastic time and will be back again.
31/05/2026: Sartù is a hidden gem in Cortona that is located going halfway down a set of stairs just past the pharmacy on the left. We made a last minute reservation and the staff was extremely accommodating. Lorenzo was our server and host and he was extremely kind and knowledgeable. He spoke some English and provided detailed explanations on the dishes. He also made great recommendations on wine to pair with the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt like having an intimate dinner in a Tuscan villa as it only had 18 seats (2 wonderful tables outside). We ordered an assortment of food to try as much as possible on the menu. We tried the ravioli, gnocchi, pork, braised wild boar, and finished with a deconstructed cannoli that was prepared to perfection. The chef here is from Naples and also makes a special crème brûlée with cinnamon. We wanted to order this as well but were too full! If you are visiting Cortona, Sartù should be at the top of your list for dinner. Thank you Lorenzo and Sartù for a wonderful experience. We will see you again soon!
