20/10/2025: Sunday lunch with the wife, beautiful location in the Arezzo countryside, excellent service, traditional Tuscan dishes (delicious) with a modern twist and beautifully presented. The hostess was very kind and smiling. High-quality ingredients cooked with care, and the wine list is carefully selected from local ingredients. Excellent.

29/09/2025: I believe this hotel deserves a five. The views of the city are remarkable. The service is impeccable and the rooms are clean with all the amenities one would expect. Nicholas was without a doubt, the best hotel host I have ever experienced in all my years. He and his staff constantly went out of their way to provide one on one personal service. From putting on dance music at night to greeting us in the morning with fresh food and champagne. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel above the city of Florence.

The food, the room, the courtyard, the pool, all well designed and convenient. Beautiful location. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Recommended by a friend.

24/09/2025: Guys, what can I say? If you find yourself in Viagrande, you absolutely must stop at this magnificent restaurant/pizzeria. Quality, tradition, innovation, choice, EDUCATION, WELCOMING. We had a great time and ate delicious dishes! You can't miss the potato ravioli or the fabulous pizzas! Desserts? Super! Go!

31/10/2025: Update October 2025: We returned after a year and I stand by my previous review. Everything was excellent. ******* A place to recommend! We stopped by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes we tried. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the menu catered to all tastes, and the house wine was excellent. We ordered Chianina beef carpaccio, pappardella with wild boar ragù, and the Cinta Senese steak. Excellent value for money.

26/08/2025: When we arrived, we were initially a little disappointed because the menu was completely different from the images on Google Maps. We then decided on a fish platter as an antipasto for two. Four different fish dishes were offered as 'salumi di pesce'. It wasn't cheap, but the value for money was good. It was very tasty. We then decided on a fish that wasn't on the menu instead of the tataki with a delicious sauce. The house-made bread was delicious, and they offered refills whenever we wanted. Overall, we were more than satisfied. The service was very good and friendly.

05/10/2025: Great spot for a decadent lunch. The pastas are delicious but you will need a nap after. Incredible selection of wine and spirits to purchase as well.

14/10/2025: Seven of us had lunch at this typical Italian restaurant. The waitress was attentive to everyone, especially the children. She went out of her way to explain all the dishes. We chose to have two antipasti for five adults. All were very good, served quickly, and delicious while being innovative. The dishes we chose afterward were just as good. The price was also very reasonable. In short, a real success even though we were the only customers in this small, typically Italian restaurant.

22/10/2025: A very average wine bar, nothing special. I ordered a Montalcino, and it was pretty average. Very acidic and unbalanced, with no information about the producer. I don't think it's worth the effort. They're famous as if they were a hidden gem, which, by far, they're NOT.

For those traveling to Italy for the first time, there might be a little surprise, but for frequent travelers who are more familiar with Italy, the wines, and the cuisine of various regions, there's nothing special about it, as we read in the reviews. 29/09/2025: Got the classic lanzhou noodles after endless Italian food on our trip and it was so good. The noodles were perfectly cooked, spice was great and delicious broth. Kind management and food came out very fast. Definitely recommend this place!
