The hosts here were superb - incredibly welcoming and helpful to us throughout our stay. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast set us up for a long day of walking. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the passion of the owners really stands out. The food was delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Did not book rooms!!! Only restaurant. We visited this restaurant twice! Food is delicious, service is wounderful and we were absolutely happy with lunch and dinner with sunset! Thanks Franchesko! Wish me to try dishes again!

Fantastic restaurant in the hills. Beautiful views, friendly service, and fabulous Tuscan dishes. The environment is clean and tidy, and dog-friendly. The sign at the entrance recommends not bringing cats. The road is a bit rough, but it's worth it. Kudos to the staff.

I had dinner at the restaurant, but didn't stay. The setting is lovely, in the countryside, but I went for dinner. It's definitely better during the day when the weather is nice. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is delicious, from the pumpkin pie to the pasta dishes. The Parmigiana degli Eretici is a must-try; I'm a fan of the classic dish, and I give it full marks. What can I say? I'll definitely be back.

Returned under new management, the owner was truly hospitable and knowledgeable, like a host... The completely revamped menu is undoubtedly very interesting and of excellent quality. Congratulations, a restaurant definitely worth recommending.

A truly fantastic experience. Let me start by saying we only had lunch at the restaurant, and I was truly impressed by the location and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. As soon as you step inside, you immediately feel at ease in a homey atmosphere where hospitality is unparalleled. The dishes are traditional and carefully prepared. We tried the tagliolini with white truffle, recommended by Chef Francesco, and I must say it was amazing. We will definitely return to Collebrunacchi to stop at this restaurant, which is truly worth a visit. I highly recommend it to truffle lovers, and my compliments once again to the Chef.

05/05/2026: This isn't a review, but a thank you to Dario and Samanta, two unique and rare people. We stayed three nights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the mattress was indescribably comfortable after a day of exploring the area. We decided to have dinner there every night... the pici, the Florentine steak, the burrata-filled sweets, the platters... not to mention their homemade tarts and tiramisu, so delicious that they express all the passion of a couple who put their heart into what they do. Thank you for letting us spend four days with smiles. The laughter we shared as if we were old friends will stay with me until the next time, and I hope very soon that we'll be back... because we definitely will, your sacrifices leave a lasting impression. We love you guys, and see you next time.
30/04/2026: We stayed there for 3 nights, but unfortunately we had some problems with the room. The fan in the next room or in the kitchen was making a crazy noise. It was partly resolved, partly not. One day, we left in the morning and returned late at night to find the door to the room open. I asked for information, and the gentleman who had been in the attic told me that the TVs were broken and they had been left unlocked. With the entrance doors to the rooms always open day and night, they didn't have the key. The gate to the building was also always open, and on the floor we found everything that had fallen through the hatch in the ceiling. Breakfast was good, the croissants. We asked if we could have savory food... yes, but the lady was very annoyed and she didn't know how to make scrambled eggs. 🤷‍♀️ Very convenient location for reaching Volterra, San Gimignano, and the surrounding areas. Outside, the garden was a real mess. It's a shame because I had read good reviews.

22/03/2026: We went to the restaurant at a friend's suggestion. Being an "osteria," we expected traditional Tuscan cuisine. When we arrived, the place was welcoming and warm, all topped off with classic Tuscan hospitality. Once we were seated, we were given a menu with just two pages: the first featuring fish and the second meat. On each page, you could choose between two appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses. So, limited choice, and from what we read on the menu, no typical Tuscan "osteria" dishes, but rather varied dishes from a very unique and refined cuisine. We honestly thought we'd come to the wrong place. The wait staff arrived and realized we were hesitant. The very courteous young woman explained that the menu was limited because they change frequently and focus on quality ingredients. We ordered two appetizers (arancino decomposed and Fassona beef tartare). Not two dishes, but two works of art! An explosion of colors and well-balanced flavors. We were extremely surprised. The main courses confirmed the modern and refined cuisine. We complimented the chef, who amazed us with his amazing dishes, so much so that he wanted to meet us. Personal Opinions Pros - Welcoming atmosphere - Friendly and hospitable staff - Superlative cuisine from appetizers to desserts - Excellent wine list Cons - Parking is quite far away - "Osteria" is misleading - Limited seating Recommended for anyone looking for a culinary experience. The price is definitely above average for an osteria, but justified by the good wines and top-notch cuisine.
