12/08/2025: We got off the highway due to a small setback, and given the time, we decided to stop for a bite to eat. The unexpected turnout turned into a pleasant lunch. We were fortunate to meet some very kind and helpful people, and the food was excellent, Tuscan, served in an equally traditional setting. We felt right at home!

18/07/2025: We visited La Bottega del Cornocchio during a supplier audit in Barberino del Mugello, and we can honestly say we hit the nail on the head! The place is a true gem: simple, authentic, with a warm, family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. You can immediately sense the passion for Tuscan tradition, both in the welcome and in the cuisine. We ordered potato-filled tortelli with ragù, a signature dish of the area, and I can confidently say they are among the best I've ever tasted. The pasta was homemade, with the perfect consistency, and the potato filling was delicate yet flavorful, enhanced by a full-bodied, flavorful ragù, cooked the way it used to be. Every forkful was pure satisfaction, a perfect balance of simplicity and flavor. For dessert, I chose a mascarpone cream, which turned out to be a true delight: velvety, rich, yet light on the palate, served in a generous portion. The full flavor of the mascarpone was well-balanced, neither too sweet nor cloying—a perfect end to an extraordinary meal. The service was impeccable: kindness, smiles, and a willingness to explain the dishes and the ingredients used, which is always a pleasure when dining at a place that puts so much love into its cooking. The value for money is also excellent: you can eat very well for the right price, with generous portions and quality ingredients. In short, La Bottega del Cornocchio is one of those places truly worth discovering and sharing: authentic Tuscan cuisine, dishes made with love, and a management team that puts their heart into every detail. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend it to anyone passing through the area who wants a genuine and satisfying gastronomic experience.

06/08/2025: Amazing food. The waitresses were really nice, but there weren't many, so we had to wait a long time. The atmosphere was a little noisy, but the food and beer were excellent. Top! Highly recommended!

The owners are of a rare kindness, welcoming and always available, making the experience even more pleasant. Avvolti da un discreto sottofondo musicale vi troverete accomodati ad un tavolo, ben organizzato con semplicità e buon gusto. Vivrete una piacevole situazione grazie da un ambiente curato, la gentilezza/competenza della titolare e di tutto il suo staff egregiamente condotto. Cena a base di frittura di pesce, leggera e saporita accompagnata da un buon bianco fermo. Che dire, l’ho scelto per le precedenti recensioni che, decisamente, confermo e sottoscrivo. Da considerare se volete trattarvi bene ad un buon costo! I coperti non sono molti, ma con una prenotazione e un pizzico di fortuna, nella disponibilità della gestione, io ho spuntato un tavolo all’aperto! 🥳😉

17/07/2025: Magia, professionalità, amore, competenza. Tutto questo si respira in una cena in questo ristorante. Si percepisce l’amore per il cibo e per come presentarlo, sia nella qualità, nell’impiattamento e nel servizio al tavolo. Impossibile non sentirsi a casa e a proprio agio in questo ristorante che presenta una cura estrema nei dettagli dosando eleganza evitando formalismi nel servizio. E tutto questo senza che il cliente se ne accorga, ma semplicemente si senta appunto a casa propria in un ambiente magico fatto di rumore del mare e buon cibo. Consigliatissimo.

13/07/2025: Location una delle migliori della zona. Menu potrebbe essere migliorato con piu scelte. La cosa negativa che alle 22.20 nn ho potuto ordinare il secondo in quanto mi è stato detto la cucina era già chiusa! In piena estate a mio avviso è sconcertante !!

19/07/2025: As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the owner with a friendly and professional manner. What struck us was the manager's enthusiasm in presenting the place and the dishes. We ordered two pizzas (Red P. and Norma), both well-prepared and topped with quality ingredients. I also asked for a glass of red wine and was offered an upgrade (Brunello 2018). We learned that they also organize tastings with pizza and wine pairings. The place isn't huge, but it's well-decorated and has well-distributed seating, located in the historic center. The staff is young (some small hesitations, but they improve with experience). Recommended. Well done. If you liked the review, please vote for me. Be wary of reviewers who only contribute.

19/07/2025: Appena entrati siamo stati accolti dal proprietario con modi cordiali e professionali, quello che ci ha colpito è l'entusiasmo del gestore nel presentare il locale e le pietanze. abbiamo preso due pizze (red p. e norma) entrambe ben preparate e condite con ingredienti di qualità. Ho chiesto anche un calice di vino rosso e mi è stato offerto un upgrade( brunello 2018) e siamo venuti a conoscenza che organizzano anche degustazioni con abbinamento pizza e vino. Locale non grandissimo ma ben arredato e posti ben distribuiti situato in zona centro storico. Personale giovane (qualche piccola incertezza ma con l'esperienza si migliora) . consigliato. bravi.
