A truly beautiful place, with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in a good location and easy to get to. The staff were very kind and helpful. The menu was extensive. The dishes were truly excellent, everything cooked to perfection. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

We had dinner with friends on Saturday evening. Welcoming location. Quick and courteous service. We had very good house appetizers. The sliced ​​meat with fries was very tender and cooked to perfection. The house wine was included. We also had desserts, which were very tasty. Average prices. I recommend it to everyone.

The times (unfortunately rare...) that we pass through these parts, "Il Vecchio Olivo" is our 'mandatory' stop!!! Excellent food, courteous and discreet staff, prices absolutely in line with the quality and execution... In short, for us, coming from Rome, it's the TOP!!! Highly recommended 😉👍🔝

Beautiful restaurant nestled among olive trees on the outskirts of Montecarlo. Very friendly staff and prompt service. Typical menu with traditional dishes. Excellent risotto with borage and Cinta Senese sausage, and fantastic cavolo nero farinata. Value for money in line with other restaurants in the area. Worth a visit.

14/07/2026: Excellent food, a lovely terrace, a dining room that makes you want to eat everything, and attentive staff. We loved it!! (We went back two days later and it was even better.)
12/07/2026: We are in Italy so pretty sure atmosphere will be 5 stars wherever we are. Everyone was friendly, super fair prices, and good menu. Side note: they leave a ticket on your table and you take it into the restaurant to pay at register. No complaints about it-we just didn’t know🙂

06/07/2026: Arriving in Lucca for the Jamiroquai concert, my wife and I happened upon Gigi's restaurant, and what can I say... everything was SUPERB: The food, the clean environment, the friendliness was top notch. Special thanks to Sara, TOP!
