16/12/2025: We had a Florentine steak, a delight! I've never had such tender and flavorful meat, accompanied by baked potatoes and artichokes—nothing to say except that they were exquisite. Not to mention the desserts, delicious. Even though the place is small, we had our privacy. The owner was friendly and kind. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

26/11/2025: LUCIDO HAS ITS VALUE! (and its price) Dinner for 2 friends, wanting to relax, and excellent food: and we succeeded! ATMOSPHERE Welcoming, well-prepared, very intimate, with very few tables (maybe 5/7 in total, I think). Perfect for listening to the flavors rather than your neighbors (as often happens, unfortunately!). Small and quiet. FOOD Normal appetizers, at least the crostini, but good quantity. Truly EXCELLENT meat, and prepared with Exceptional Love. PURE RAW MATERIALS, DEDICATION, AND PREPARATION. FINISHING: DESSERTS + LIQUORS Good portion and presentation, average. Mixed liquor tastings: DIVINE Superior quality products, even in the spirits. Moreover, expertly explained to fully appreciate them. WINE The selection by the glass isn't huge, but that's fine. What I think could be improved are the prices per glass. €7, €8, and even €18 for a glass seem excessive for someone who wants to have just one glass! DETAILS TO KNOW (and appreciate) 1. Serve the (empty) plates by cleaning them elegantly beforehand; I've only seen that in movies. 2. A meat thermometer: Another Pro. 3. Letting the empty plate on which you serve the meat sit on the stone fireplace, so that it retains as much heat as possible, seemed exceptional to me. The "red" lamp is common, but "warming the plate" to avoid a thermal shock seems like a detail not appreciated by many. 4. For the first time in history, when I asked for just 1 glass of wine, they left the (unopened) bottle of the corresponding wine on the table so I could actually see what I was enjoying... It's never happened to me! I rarely drink just 1 glass, it's true! ; ) 5. Absolute transparency when choosing to pay in cash or with card: that is, no fuss or discounts. The price is there, period. And I think it's fair. SUMMARY: That's all that happened... And if you've read this far, I'm sure you'll come prepared. It seems clear to me that this isn't a place for birthday parties with large tables, or for young people wanting to party. But finally, it's a SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND ENJOY THEIR QUALITY, WELL-PREPARED FOOD. Of course, with the associated prices, it's always good to be aware of that! ENJOY !

25/03/2026: Great food, generous portions, cooked like your mother's, and a pleasant atmosphere that feels like home. I'd call it a Tuscan Osteria with a twist. The tortelli with Cinta ragù are phenomenal! I've never tasted so good... the pork loin with mushroom sauce is incredible! They have a good wine selection, including some French ones. I've been there several times and will definitely be back.

14/03/2026: Everything was truly excellent quality!!! Excellent service. It's a shame the atmosphere is a bit too noisy and the tables are too close together.

17/04/2026: We were looking for it all day because we didn't remember it being outside of Pienza or its name!!! We finally found it!!! Awesome wines, cheeses and cold cuts!!! And pork chops!!!😍😍

15/04/2026: A lot of people had been mentioning this place to me for a while, and finally, for Easter Monday, we went up that road, we never got there, and then we were hungry, and well, I'll tell you what. The place was full, and only our table was left. There were seven of us. We ordered appetizers, first courses, and then second courses. I have to say, everything was delicious, especially the mushrooms, which were presented in various ways. I'm not a fan, but for this occasion, I even went out of my way to choose a second course with mushrooms over truffle. Even the 6 tagliolini with truffle that my daughter had left over because they were so generous were good, too. All the diners were unanimous in their praise of the place and the chef. The service, despite the crowd, was also quick and friendly. Whether you happen upon it or hear about it, it's worth stopping for a meal. I recommend it.

11/04/2026: Excellent place, tried for lunch with two other bikers. The quality of the hot mushroom and polenta appetizers was excellent. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was equally as good. The courtesy and kindness of the hosts was remarkable, and finally, the price was reasonable for the meal. We'll definitely return.

You know, everyone is different — and that’s exactly what makes this world awesome. But when, in a restaurant, a chef comes out to tell you that your tastes, your way of life, and your preferences are weird just because you like potatoes or don’t eat meat or fish, and that you’re somehow not “normal” — it doesn’t just feel uncomfortable. You actually start wondering how you ended up in a place where you can’t simply be who you are. We live in a time when individuality is valued and empathy is supposed to matter, and yet you find yourself in a situation like this and can’t quite believe what you’re hearing. I wish you happiness, dear chef.

01/04/2026: TOURIST TRAP! Please, be aware what you are walking into. This restaurant wants to do everything to get the bill up. Don't get me wrong the food is pretty oke, but.. pasta's for 20 euros, pushing for extra sides, "water menu" and appetizers. And even then, you can say this can all be part of a Nicer restaurant. Getting the bill. Glasses of wine for 18,50(had no idea), side dish(no idea it was a side dish) and then to top it off coperta. Which usually happens for cheaper pleases where people order a water and then enjoy the view.. This place is a fake. Don't go here, don't listen to what chatgpt tells you😂

06/04/2026: I was forced to write this review. I was already full, but they forced me to write it anyway. Then they gave me a huge tiramisu. I really didn't want any more food! LOL KLEO's service was excellent. I ordered the lunch set menu, and the salad, pasta, and meat were all twice the amount I expected. The balsamic vinegar and olive oil were delicious.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

13/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant on the way home from a trip. It's impossible not to appreciate the food: ingredients of undisputed quality, dishes cooked to perfection. The ambiance only adds to the pleasure of the food, and the prices are fair. The real asset of this restaurant, however, is Tiziano, the soul of the restaurant. It's hard to find someone so professional, fun, and friendly, the epitome of Tuscan style.

08/12/2025: Pici with Chianina ragù and peposo are two highly recommended dishes. The waiter, Tiziano, was very courteous and attentive, even to the needs of two celiacs.
