09/05/2025: As the reviews indicate, the food was excellent. It is a small restaurant, maximum 15 people. That should be doable, but preparing such excellent food and serving your guests is difficult when you are alone. Normally there are two of them, but because it was a quiet evening, our host was alone. After us, 4 more guests arrived and our host was so "busy" with them that it seemed as if he had completely lost sight of us. After a tasty starter and excellent main course, we would have liked a desert and another coffee, but in the end we didn't wait for that. When we put on our coat he came to ask if we wanted to order anything, but we declined. It was bad luck that we just found an evening when things turned out the way they did. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit and wishes everyone a better overall experience.

29/07/2025: We returned last week and I stand by my previous review! The pizza is made with an excellent blend of flours and rises well. We also tried some of the restaurant's dishes (bruschetta and tortelli), both of which were very good. It's traditional Tuscan cuisine without too many frills. You dine among the shelves of the shop, which is very beautiful and well-stocked with organic products. The service is friendly and efficient. The location (near the Barberino exit) with ample and convenient parking is also not to be underestimated.

13/06/2025: I gave the tour with tasting to my partner for his birthday, in this very cute craft brewery. We had a really good time, perfect organization and above all we learned several interesting things about beer production. Excellent beers paired perfectly with the whole meal including dessert. Everything was excellent! We will definitely be back.

08/08/2025: A very nice restaurant, with super friendly service. The first day, they made a tuna pizza especially for my wife, which wasn't on the menu. The second day, we ordered a pizza Margherita to go for our daughter, who was unfortunately ill at the hotel. The service was friendly, and both the pizzas and the house specialty (lasagna) were delicious. Highly recommended!

04/08/2025: This was the first lasagna place I ate at during my first trip to Italy. I didn't speak any Italian at all. I arrived in the city late at night and randomly found a place along the road. After a lot of hand gestures with the owner, I chose this one. It tasted good, with a strong tomato flavor. The meat sauce was also good when spread on bread. At the end of the meal, I met locals who came to drink and chat, and it was really pleasant to feel the evening breeze. (I should have ordered a sprite, but I didn't know it at the time.)

22/07/2025: Great place near Duomo! We had Florentine steak, grilled vegetables and zucchini flowers - all dishes were great! For dessert, of course, tiramisu, I wouldn't say it was the most delicious I've ever tried, but we liked it! For the stunning view, I would give it 6 stars. The staff was very polite and friendly. Overall, I recommend visiting this place!

23/07/2025: The best meal we have had in Italy. Everything from the friendly staff, efficient service, and great food made this our favorite. We have been to many restaurants all over Europe in the past 4 wks and this was our favorite. Their dishes were delicate and one dish with grilled pasta and vegetable consommé was my favorite, the delicate flavors (small crunch of grilled julienned veggies and horseradish) were amazing! Their watermelon caprese with mozzarella and more classic tagliatelle with ossobucco and just spaghetti with tomatoes were made with concentrated robust flavor… if it didn’t have salt it would be good. All the dishes were just the right amount of everything. It was a wonderful Tuscan restaurant but obviously with an inventive chef …. You must have a reservation.

17/07/2025: Passeggiando per Lucca troviamo questo posto incantevole. Mentre ci avvicinavamo alla porta il proprietario ha suggerito di prenotare per la cena e così abbiamo fatto. Il menu non è molto ampio ma tutti i piatti hanno un grande sviluppo, abbiamo ordinato tutto per condividere e aveva la delicatezza di separare in due piatti, come mostrato nella foto è a metà cottura piatto di anatra (non può espandersi ingredienti perché c"erano così tante che non mi ricordo). Consiglia di fermarsi per la cena a questo sito e quindi dissipare i miti del genere in Italia mangiare solo pasta e pizza. Si tratta di un luogo intimo con un fascino speciale, è consigliata la prenotazione.

28/07/2025: We stumbled upon this lovely place with some friends, slightly outside the village of San Godenzo. We came up for a hike and then stopped here for lunch. It was May and it was already hot in Florence, but up here it was very nice! The experience was overall positive, even if it was different from what we expected. In other places in the area, when you sit down, you "eat," meaning a portion often feeds two, but here the portion was "small." Aside from the small portions, the quality was excellent! I tried a decent first course and a fabulous guinea fowl, homemade, pan-fried with a drizzle of tomato, truly delicious. I was expecting slightly larger portions, so I'm giving the food an average rating, reflecting the good quality and modest quantity! Given the beautiful day, we were able to eat on a sort of terrace covered with climbing plants, and it's truly a lovely place to be! We spent €25 each, ordering an average of one and a half portions each plus drinks, and maybe a few people ordered dessert.... Overall, the price was okay! Overall, I liked it and will probably give it a second try when I'm in the area!

20/07/2025: On Saturday evening, we stopped by for dinner without a reservation. There were no tables available, but the owner literally found a table and set it up for us! The dinner was delicious, made even more enjoyable by the extraordinary kindness and professionalism of all the staff.

27/07/2025: Most delicious pastas we had in Firenze!! We had the tagliolini with truffle and pici with burrata paired with prosecco lol. This is definitely more of a local spot amongst more touristy restaurants… the service was neutral and a bit cold towards us but I don’t mind - the service towards other families was extremely warm though, so I assumed they were regulars from the area (which ofc led us to realize that this was probably a really good restaurant). Overall, if you really just crave good quiet ambience and incredibly amazing food, this is the place.

04/08/2025: Secondo me il miglio posto dove mangiare carne . La carne è buonissima , accompagnata da attimi vini (anche di alto livello) . I fiori ripieni sono favolosi , come il prosciutto . Ma se volete mangiare dell ottima carne non c’è posto migliore . Il personale è molto cordiale e preparato anche sui vini sapranno dare ottimi consigli per abbinare ai piatti in base ai gusti

01/08/2025: Locale molto curato nel centro di Bibbona. L interno è ben arredato e accogliente,di classe. Ma è il cibo a fare la differenza. Preso due antipasti di carne. Il mio era un tagliere di salumi con crostini toscani e di brasato. I crostini, di 3 tipi, mi hanno fatto impazzire. Anche la tartare al coltello della mia compagna ottima. Di secondo preso il galletto ripieno dei suoi fegatini. Buonissimo anch'esso. Consigliato. Ci sono diversi fuori menù legati sempre al mondo della carne e della cacciagione, quindi si ha più varietà una volta arrivato in loco. A chiudere personale giovane, veloce e disponibile. Consigliatissimo
