12/04/2026: I've been going there for almost 25 years, and everything is always exceptional. The food is a 10. The penne acone is always a great choice and always a spectacle. Very kind staff. Recommended.
30/03/2026: Never been before. The setting is on a hill. Penne all'Acone is delicious. Steak tagliata with mixed grill and roast potatoes are excellent. Then the strawberry tiramisu is outrageously good.

The Osteria de giusti is located next to the highway. Even with lots of empty seats, the waiters still refused to let us sit inside - in a very unfriendly way. It seems like this area is reserved for the locals only. Instead they placed us in a noisy and uncomfortable wintergarden next to the highway. Not worth leaving lots of money for steaks.

05/04/2026: Returned yesterday with some friends. It's always a pleasure to come and eat here. The menu is extensive, just enough to please everyone. The portions are generous and good quality. The service is efficient without being overwhelming. The bill... definitely excellent value. We'll return when possible. Reservations recommended.

07/04/2026: This is by far the best lampredotto I've ever had, hands down. The panozzo was lovely and filling, the meat was buttery soft and flavorful... It's a bit out of the way, but if you visit the Stibbert, it's worth eating there!
07/04/2026: This is the second lampredotto I've had in Florence, i liked this one than another one I had closer to the main hub. The tripe tasted more like tripe and I preferred a bit more chew with this one. The size is also generous. I didn't have to wait at all as I came right at open in a Tuesday morning post Easter. It's a bit out of the way but I had time to kill anyway. There's a nice park to sit at, next to the stall, if the provided seatings are full.

12/04/2026: I found myself alone in Piombino for work and, intrigued by the reviews, I decided to dine at Taverna dei Boncompagni.
The quality of the food (from appetizer to dessert) and the service were superb.
The skate and the dry-aged snapper took me back to Japan, the risotto delicious, the yuzu dessert a refreshing finish to cleanse the palate.
Simone was a unique host, demonstrating great hospitality and an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients and wines.
The #1 restaurant in the area, I recommend everyone to try it!

21/03/2026: I was just at that restaurant, and I have to say I left very satisfied. As a rather picky Cuban, I say this: it's literally like eating at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially the chef, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. It definitely feels like returning to a little piece of my beautiful Cuba. 🫶🏽🇨🇺

18/04/2026: They confirm your reservation via WhatsApp (made a month in advance), then the day before lunch they tell you that "the automatic messaging system made a mistake"! EIGHT people with a booked van and everything was cancelled! Phenomenal! Not even a phone call to apologize or to find us another date!!!

09/04/2026: The place is a bit small for the potential of the business, the food and service are excellent, the portions are so "you won't wake up hungry", the price is fair, it's run more like a home than a business, it's really good. If we want to find a flaw, but to be picky, the smell from the kitchen goes a bit into the dining room, but without making it a drama.
