We ate very well, the price was truly excellent, and the service was minimal yet attentive. They also have an excellent wine list and an excellent selection of meat cuts, and the risotto alla milanese was top-notch.

Excellent restaurant in Monti I visited this restaurant for lunch with some colleagues. It is located in Monti, a hamlet of Licciana Nardi. There are plenty of free parking spaces outside for customers. The interior is spacious and furnished in a trattoria style, with all the wines displayed on the walls. On weekdays, they offer complete business lunches (first course, second course, side dish, and water) for €13.00. There are at least three options for each course. The dishes are all very good and served in generous portions. An excellent restaurant for a lunch break.

If you want to eat well and are in or around Aulla, you absolutely must book here! Everything is amazing, from appetizers to desserts. I've been here several times now and always leave satisfied. I want to give a special shout-out to the ladies serving tables. Today, December 26th, a holiday, the place was packed. They were incredibly fast, always smiling, and courteous!

24/04/2026: First time at Mauro's and I have to say they lived up to expectations. EXCEPTIONAL food! The meat was fantastic, probably the best I've ever eaten, plus the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.
22/04/2026: Everything was very good and the service was fast and professional. The meat and pasta served in parmesan cheese were excellent!

16/04/2026: Discovered this place by chance online, easy to find. Very friendly staff, excellent food (panigacci, cured meats, and an apple tart). Fair prices. Congratulations.
05/04/2026: We stopped here on our way to Sori and Lavagna for a water polo tournament. They were very kind in agreeing on the menu and prices before we arrived. We ate deliciously. It's rare to find such friendliness and helpfulness. The location is convenient because it's very close to the highway, making it an easy stopover.
