Amazing spot, very friendly owner/chef, and had the best seafood pasta of my life here, would highly recommend!

Typical dishes and all delicious, truly compliments to the chef or chefs and very kind waiters, stop by if you want to try something special and not Italian.

A family-friendly atmosphere with exceptional dishes. The restaurant is small, but the selection is extensive, accompanied by daily specials to take advantage of the fresh catch. If you're unsure, let him recommend something; you won't regret it. Stop by and chat with the friendly owner when he's not in the kitchen preparing something. The prices are definitely fair, considering the amount of fish they serve.

This was our favorite restaurant during our week stay in Florence! It was recommended by our AirBnB host and didn’t disappoint! This tiny restaurant is very welcoming and so are the staff. We recommend you try the Fried Polenta croutons with Cuttlefish ragout, the Lemon Tagliolini and Pasta alla amatriciana. The linguine with lobster was also very good. For dessert, the Tiramisu and Catalan cream were delicious. Be sure to check out the wall decorations!

If you're looking for the best pasta in Florence, if you love a warm atmosphere with a very talented and engaging chef and a lovely waitress, honestly, don't hesitate for a second, go to Varadero. We arrived with four children (who were more than welcome, which isn't always the case) and, honestly, we went back every night of our stay. The whole family enjoyed it immensely. We hope to return to Florence to see Michel and his entire team again and taste his delicious cuisine once more. If you want a cheerful and authentic place, go there.
