05/04/2026: We ordered gluten-free tagliatelle, and they were excellent. We couldn't find many gluten-free options in Florence, and we stumbled upon this place by chance! Highly recommended, and the service was great. The only downside is that they don't have gluten-free bread.

04/04/2026: Average quality. Service could be improved, as we were in a separate room from the main one. The owner was very friendly and willing to accommodate our changes. Typical restaurant with healthy Tuscan cuisine. The minced liver was a no-no.

01/03/2026: A true gem in Pomarance: La Dispensa del Palagetto was an extraordinary discovery! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth and professionalism by the wait staff: smiling, attentive, and capable of making us feel immediately at home. Such a genuine welcome truly makes the difference and contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. The cuisine is simply excellent, with top-quality ingredients and evident attention to every detail. Everything is delicious, from the initial appetizer of wild carrot puree and crusty bread—delicate yet full of character—to the duck-filled plin, simply out of this world: flavorful, balanced, and perfectly executed. Not to mention the low-temperature cooked belly, so tender it literally melts in your mouth, served with cavolo nero in a harmonious and enveloping combination. The fillet with porcini mushroom cap was also top-notch. The mushrooms were beautifully firm and the meat was perfectly cooked. Finally, an excellent raspberry tartlet. Coffee served with a delicious biscuit with homemade jam. The wine list is also excellent. A taste experience that left us completely satisfied. A restaurant that is absolutely worth the price, for its quality, experience, and customer service. Our compliments, we will be happy to return!

12/04/2026: Fantastic place, unpretentious and welcoming. It's not very large but still seats quite a few people, and given the speed of service, I'd say that's not a problem. The table settings are rustic and themed. The food, however, amazed us. We focused on the restaurant's signature dish, the goose (prosciutto, leg, breast, in every way), and it completely met our expectations. Nothing to overwhelm your taste buds; the pairings are simple for local dishes, but they work very well and are executed perfectly, with obsessive attention to ingredients and cooking. The olive oil and wine were so good that we had to struggle to get back to the car without a bottle. They also offer tasting menus for those who want to try the entire offering. With two glasses of red wine (Sangiovese Purneia and Cabernet), two covers, two appetizers, two goose main courses, a side dish, a bittersweet liqueur, and a sweet liqueur, I'd say €50 per person is more than in line with the Siena fare, especially considering the quality ingredients and the friendly, attentive service. The menu offers many dishes at lower prices and for different tastes, including off-menu options. In short, there's something for everyone! We'll definitely try more when we return! Great!

05/04/2026: We went today, April 5th, for Easter lunch. I chose this restaurant because it inspired me and the reviews were excellent. Truly, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was very beautiful, rustic. Reclaimed wood tables were truly cool. The food was top-notch. My partner and I had two soups: one with beans and tripe, and one with beans, chard, and nettles. Delicious. For our main course, two Chianina roast beefs with grilled vegetables. The meat was top-notch. To finish, the Vin Santo tiramisu with crumbled cantuccini... An addictive dessert... Divine. Two glasses of wine (excellent), water, and two coffees. Total €90. Money well spent, especially since the service was impeccable. It was worth it to ride a motorbike through the Chianti countryside for a few kilometers. I think we'll do it again soon. Well done.

Where employees blend together, offering professional, attentive, yet never cold or aloof service. You feel at home... You eat authentic, fresh, GOOD dishes. Kudos to the entire staff.

The location is immersed in greenery and surrounded by a backdrop of greenery and light, making it perfect for events and celebrations. The dishes we tried were all excellent, from the divine pici all'aglione to the tender and flavorful pork ribs, even the vegetable flan, pumpkin risotto, and cauliflower cooked three times. We also celebrated a baptism here and were warmly welcomed by the owner and the wait staff, who were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, contributing to a serene and festive atmosphere. All our guests were won over by the hospitality, the cuisine, and the beauty of the venue. Very fair prices. An excellent experience, where cuisine, atmosphere, and attention to detail come together perfectly.

30/03/2026: Their own beers are especially recommended. They also had "Knoblach" on tap. This way, even Italians can enjoy the best Franconian beer from near Bamberg. We'll definitely be back! 😀
