This is by far the best lampredotto I've ever had, hands down. The panozzo was lovely and filling, the meat was buttery soft and flavorful... It's a bit out of the way, but if you visit the Stibbert, it's worth eating there!

This is the second lampredotto I've had in Florence, i liked this one than another one I had closer to the main hub. The tripe tasted more like tripe and I preferred a bit more chew with this one. The size is also generous. I didn't have to wait at all as I came right at open in a Tuesday morning post Easter. It's a bit out of the way but I had time to kill anyway. There's a nice park to sit at, next to the stall, if the provided seatings are full.

Being a typical street food for the masses, it's not in a fancy restaurant.
Yet, it's one of my favorite foods in Florence.
Also the place is really nice in my opinion, when it's a good day you can just walk behind the place and eat in the small park. You'll live the modern day Fiorentino "pranzo".
By the way, the "paradiso" is the best choice.

Coming straight from Sicily, my job is to be a chef, so Chef Pablito tells you I tried the classic lampredotto sandwich with a contrast of salsa verde and spicy salsa... guys, it was incredibly smooth, it tasted like a lindor, the flavor was excellent, just the right amount of greasy, in short, a real treat. Absolutely recommended, definitely worth a try if you come to Florence.
