17/03/2025: Immerso nel verde, circondato da freschi torrenti limpidi e boschi ombreggiati, si trova questo antico mulino ristrutturato con gusto e recupero di vecchi materiali. La sala è intima e invita a rilassarsi, mentre il personale ti accoglie con calore e mille attenzioni (non ultima, averci permesso di entrare con il nostro cagnolino). La casa propone alcuni menu-degustazione, ma noi abbiamo scelto di ordinare alla carta. L'antipasto toscano comprende crostini e salumi eccellenti provenienti dai propri allevamenti: io credo di aver gustato qui il più buon lardo di sempre. La fonduta di erborinato del Mugello su chips di fromenton 8 file è stata un'esplosione di sapore che difficilmente puoi trovare altrove. Poi abbiamo preso il fritto di pollo e coniglio: molto leggero e porzioni abbondanti, carne di animali allevati da loro, di cui apprezzi tutta la carne bella polposa e infine il contorno di uno sformato di cavolfiore (sempre dalla propria azienda agrituristica) davvero speciale. Per dolce ci sono state *offerte* delle originali e buonissime frittelle di San Giuseppe e ammazzacaffè. Interessante la cantina, con ottimi vini soprattutto della lucchesia e toscani. Escluso il vino, abbiamo speso 30€/persona. Non è la classica trattoria di campagna né il solito locale da fighetti. Di questo posto abbiamo apprezzato la qualità *assoluta* della materia prima ben sposata con la quantità: ci siamo alzati sazi, non appesantiti, e soprattutto appagati. Per noi era la prima volta in questo remoto paradiso di montagna ma torneremo di sicuro per provare il menu primaverile.

30/03/2025: EVERYTHING SUPER!!!!! I recommend the peposo if it's on the menu. It really deserves a lot, in addition to the handmade pici which any sauce you pair with it is superlative!!!! Then a Chianti or a San Giovese and dinner is perfect.

11/03/2025: I came for lunch with a friend with high expectations, as the restaurant is in the Michelin guide, and they were not disappointed at all. The place is very beautiful with a style between modern and ancient, the stone walls and arches give a lot of warmth and the furniture is a mix of ancient, modern and boho. The only flaw about the location is that when I approached the table the floor moved strangely under my feet producing a subtle sound, as if I had walked on an unstable point, it gave me the idea that it wasn't a normal floor at that point, in a place like that I didn't expect it, but it's just a detail. I had a double-creamed risotto with prawns and broccoli and it was divine, a combination of strong, acidic flavors (given by the presence of lemon in my opinion) and delicate flavors from the broccoli. One bite led to another, my compliments to the chef!. Excellent and never intrusive service, very quiet and peaceful atmosphere as expected in a place like this. Excellent experience.

09/03/2025: We went just today (Sunday 9 March 2025), for lunch, me, my partner and my daughter. Immediately warm and courteous welcome, with a nice word towards the little girl (which is not to be taken for granted). Fast service, very kind, helpful and smiling staff! And spectacular food. Highly recommended ❤️

26/01/2025: Located in the village of Capalbio (small but very characteristic) is this fantastic trattoria (parking is a bit difficult to find but I understand the context). I personally ate the meat. Overall, I can say that I found excellent quality. I will definitely return to taste other specialties. Pleasant environment, friendly staff and excellent cuisine. see you soon.😁

31/03/2025: Ho mangiato pesce in questo bel ristorante appena sopra le colline.. piatti ben presentati e fatti veramente bene.. un po troppa attesa tra l antipasto e il primo che con un bambini piccolo non è proprio consigliabile ma, si sa! La domenica a pranzo c'è un po piu di traffico da dover mettere in conto... buinissimo il polpo dell antipasto e il riso al nero di seppia anche se risultava un po salatino... i secondi, il tonno in crosta ottimo e la frittura di pesce buona... pochi piatti nella scelta ma fatti bene, questo è un ottimo ristorante del mugello per poter mangiare anche del pesce.

22/03/2025: A decent trattoria, kind and friendly, prices in line with the norm. There is a general tired atmosphere...there could be a bit of a renewal in the environment and the dishes...come on! You are in one of the most beautiful squares in the world!

20/03/2025: I happened upon it by chance, the owner Alessandro is very kind and attentive, the food is delicious 🤤 Cinta Senese sausages and beans are really 10 out of 10… The only thing that makes you feel bad is the proportion between the portions and the bill!!! It's expensive for what it offers!!!

17/04/2025: We got a bistecca, tagliolini al tartufo and a burrata salad. We ordered the veal steak medium rare and it was probably, without exaggeration, the best steak we have ever eaten. As for the spaghetti with truffle, it was a bit tasteless in our opinion. The salad is light and nice. For all three plus water and bread we paid €70. In general we were satisfied. The staff polite and helpful.
