Very warm and welcoming environment, excellent food and punctual and courteous service. Excellent tortelli with meat sauce (from Pisan mucco)! Very varied and tasty appetizers. My vegetarian wife found a lot of choice and all the foods excellent. Applause to Simone, excellent host and chef.

17/02/2025: On Sunday my sister and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch at the Bar Trattoria Marina. As soon as we entered, the stone room immediately won us over: welcoming, authentic, the kind of place that makes you feel at home even before you sit down. The service was fast and warm, but the real show came with the food. Here you feel that the kitchen is in the hands of those who know secrets and handed down recipes, like a silent guardian of the flavors of the past. It's not just about preparing dishes, but about telling a story through every bite. We tasted the tortelli with ragù, perfect in their simplicity, and the porchettato rabbit, a revelation: I had never tried such tasty and well-cooked meat before. To conclude, a ricotta and chocolate cake that still makes my mouth water just thinking about it. What made everything even more special was the kindness of the lady who welcomed us - I suppose Marina herself - who, in addition to serving us with a smile, also gave us valuable directions for the routes around the lake. This is not just a restaurant, it is a little gem of the place. The type of place that not only nourishes, but leaves you with the memory of an experience. We will definitely be back.

08/03/2025: Schon beim Betreten des Lokals hat man das Gefühl nach Hause zukommen, denn man wird freundlich und herzlich begrüsst. Man merkt im Henri von A bis Z, dass die Mitarbeiter gerne ihren Job machen, so sind alle mit viel Enthusiamus bei der Arbeit. Angeführt vom Chef, einem unfassbar freundlichen und zugewandtem Menschen hat die Küche und der Service unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen, und uns das Ankommen in Viareggio wahrlich versüsst. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und das schöne Lokal, vor allem aber die freundlichen Menschen die dort arbeiten sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

Wide quality of Tuscan and also national wines. I would say a more than fair price/quality ratio. Claudia the owner is always jovial and ready to give the best advice. Very careful about distancing provisions. The place is very clean and hygienically respectable.

19/03/2025: Dinner for two in this trattoria with a typical Florentine menu. We had an appetizer, two first courses, a second course and a side dish with house wine, we were very satisfied with both the food and the price! The landlady was kind and courteous, the environment was informal but welcoming. We were really satisfied!

We had a Tullio appetizer that seemed never ending, slightly different from other typical Tuscan appetizers because it also included fried sage and other delicacies, and then the inevitable Prussiana. We left the restaurant happy and full.
