09/03/2026: Excellent pizza and great value for money. It's located a bit outside the city center, so you don't just stumble upon it by chance; you go there intentionally. The fact that so many locals go there is a very good sign. Reservations are therefore recommended! Nevertheless, they cater to tourists (who, like me, probably find their way there through the good reviews) and the restaurant even offers a German menu. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The service is very good and friendly!

26/03/2026: I went there with three friends, and our experience was magnificent. First, we were served a delicious wine (Villa Sardini 2023) that tantalized us with new flavors. Once ordered and served, our dishes were a gustatory ecstasy for all of us, living up to our expectations. The local cuisine was developed with meticulous attention to detail, complemented by a very reliable soundtrack. I was intrigued when I heard Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson playing afterward. What a pleasure! If you're looking for an excellent restaurant in the best city in Tuscany, this one is perfect.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this delightful osteria, where the cuisine speaks the authentic language of tradition. 02/12/2025: Excellent quality gelato. The flavor is exceptional, the best I've ever had. Flavors vary seasonally. Very welcoming and courteous staff. Unfortunately, there aren't any tables inside—there wouldn't be enough space—but on a bitterly cold day, we were welcome to eat gelato standing inside.

01/04/2026: Great food for the price. Our family of two adults and two kids, aged 10 and 14, had dinner and a soda each for 44 Euros. I highly recommend trying the traditional Farinata with grilled vegetables. We don't speak any Italian, but it was no problem placing our order and getting a to go bag for the leftover food.

01/04/2026: Our family had dinner here on our first night of 4 in Pontremoli and we'll definitely be back! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed, with music, but not nearly as loud as many of the other places we've been to in Italy. But back to the food - it was excellent! My son had foccacia with mozarella, tomato and Parma ham - perfection. My other son shared pizza with me, he declared it the best pizza he's ever had, and I agree. My husband and I shared the farinata with roasted vegetables. I didn't think I'd like it when reading about it, but it was wonderful! We also shared a caprese salad, which was just right. All washed down with Lurisia Italian sofas, and it was a fantastic dining experience that cost us about 44 euros. I can't wait to go back!

The place was clean, including the bathroom! Super. We'll be back for the meatballs, tortelli alla guancia, and everything else we didn't get to eat today.

The quality is truly excellent, and considering the prices, I think it's unbeatable value. The menu offers a huge variety of both first and second courses, all carefully crafted and always fresh. Don't miss the appetizer: six courses, which vary based on the day's availability, always a pleasant surprise. An added bonus is Davide, the owner: kind, eccentric, a true Livorno native, always with a smile and a quick wit, capable of making you feel at home. My family and I can't live without it anymore, and we return at least once a month. I highly recommend booking well in advance, especially on weekends.
