08/07/2025: We were looking for a place to eat during a trip and stopped at this trattoria almost by chance. The atmosphere was friendly, there was plenty of parking, and there was a wide selection of dishes. Perhaps even too many. Overall, we were satisfied with our stop.

31/05/2025: Capitati per caso per una pizza.. Vedevamo scorrerci piatti di pesce e di carne, ben presentati.. La pizza era buonissima ma ci siamo lasciati con il titolare che ci diceva :"Vi aspetto per il pesce!!".. Detto fatto!! Siamo tornati e .. Mai mangiato un risotto alla pescatora così delizioso!! Il titolare mi ha anche accontentata facendomi fare bruschette (non in menù) veramente squisite.. Il polipo con patate era freschissimo.la crema catalana sempre freschissima. Piatti abbondanti e curati, materie prime eccellenti, la gentilezza fa la differenza.. Torneremo sicuramente!

25/05/2025: Raviolo maremmano buonissimo e fresco. Pasta sottile e ripieno perfetto , anche il ragù!! Siamo capitati per caso e la gentilezza del personale e la cordialità ci hanno migliorato la serata ❤️

25/01/2025: An exceptional shop, to say the least, run by friendly people with remarkable helpfulness and kindness. They have a little bit of everything and just in case. Dishes cooked to perfection as if they were "at home", both freshly made and ready to take away. We often go there when we are in the area and their cuisine makes us feel really good. They have a few tables inside and in good weather even a few places outside. I recommend you give it a try and you won't be disappointed. See you soon

09/06/2025: The food is average at best, (Tuscany toast was good though) especially for the price. If you really are in a hurry, it is kind of ok, considering the location. But over all it is a mediocre food for really steep price.

28/07/2025: A fishmonger's/restaurant that, if it weren't for the counter, you'd have a hard time recognizing it as a fishmonger's, given the very charming and refined atmosphere. Good service, fresh fish, generous portions of mussels, fried fish, and pasta dishes; the octopus, tuna steak, and desserts are a little less generous... prices in line with what you get (though not super cheap).

17/09/2025: The pizza was delicious. I tried four pizzerias in Florence, and they had the longest lines, and the pizza there was soggy and chewy. Here, you'll get a well-baked, slightly crispy pizza with just the right amount of toppings—perfect! Kudos to the staff and the super-friendly pizza maker, great job! ❤️

The location is adequate, though noticeably removed from the city's more vibrant and desirable attractions, which may pose a slight inconvenience for those wishing to explore the area more easily.

24/07/2025: Parking is available on site. Luggage is delivered to and from the room by a service. The complex consists of a 12th-century monastery and other outbuildings. The room is large, clean, and well-equipped. Personally, I missed having a wardrobe to unpack my suitcase. However, we were there for almost a week. Most visitors only stay two to three nights. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic. There are plenty of loungers, as long as they aren't double-booked by Americans (sun and shade). We didn't use the rest of the spa area; we were always out and about. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is served on the terrace in good weather, and the selection is good. Now for the negatives: the dinner could definitely be better in terms of quality. We tried the food twice and were disappointed both times. The steak was tough for us, and the steak was tough for the next table two days later. One even went back to the kitchen. My pasta with ragu tasted more like a snack bar. I've been passionate about cooking authentic Italian food for years. I buy authentic Italian products. The food was a complete disappointment. We hadn't expected anything different. We weren't even asked for our opinion at checkout. Nobody seemed to care. Summary: Top-notch facilities and staff, dinner in the village or on the go.

28/04/2025: Mi dispiace molto fare una recensione negativa, ma purtroppo la mia esperienza non ha niente di positivo. Impasto della pizza cingommoso di scarsissima qualità per non parlare dei dolci disgustosi, non abbiamo detto niente, ma uno aveva un aspetto e odore brutto sembrava avariato! Lo abbiamo lasciato lì! L'unica cosa positiva è l'ambiente carino, è un vero peccato!

03/07/2025: We spent a long time here. We ate at the chalet several times. I simply love the pizzas here. Great crispy base, pleasantly thin and crispy crust. Simply delicious. We were also completely impressed with the service. Attentive and friendly staff. Hospitality was genuine, and our not-so-typical Italian special requests were also fulfilled. 07/06/2025: A certainty of simplicity and hospitality Lo Chalet di Fontassiere is one of those pizzerias where you always want to return. The food is simple, without too many frills, but always good, well-prepared and consistent with what you expect from genuine and honest cuisine. The pizza is truly excellent, with a light and well-cooked dough, fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. But what makes the experience even more pleasant is the welcome from the dining room staff. Special praise goes to the waitresses, who with a sincere smile and spontaneous kindness know how to transform a simple dinner into a moment of authentic relaxation and conviviality. In a world that runs, finding a place where you feel welcomed with warmth makes the difference.
