We ate there for lunch with friends so we were able to try several things on the menu. As a starter we shared a Tuscan appetizer and livers with fennel (they would be a second course but we took them as an appetizer), both very good. Then they made themselves available to make us a trio of first courses, all based on pici but with three different sauces: with garlic, anchovies with pesto and bread crumbs and with wild boar ragù. All three were good, I preferred the second among the first. Advised!

Very familiar place, excellent food for quality/price ratio. I will definitely return, creme brulee worth 10, found by chance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Come si capisce dal nome è una trattoria aperta dal tempo delle guerre coloniali, circa un secolo fa. Piccola spartana, essenziale, decorata con réclame di gelati degli anni '60: se cercate la location perfetta non è il vostro caso. Ma mangiare..che buono! Buoni i pici coll'aglione, le tagliatelle sul cinghiale, la ribollita, la trippa, il peposo, condito dall'entusiarmo e dalla simpatia del proprietario. Per noi è stata proprio una bella serata!

Had lunch in this simple trattoria on January 2, 2024, we took the Toscanacciò platter, some took the pici, some the tagliatelle. I must say everything was delicious, exceptional hospitality, available and attentive even towards two people with celiac disease, excellent price and quality!

Non è il posto per chi cerca un ambiente moderno, curato né tantomeno sofisticato. L'ingresso non ha neppure l'insegna, la toilette è minuscola. La stanza mi ha ricordato la cucina alla buona delle vecchie case ed in realtà quello è; già dal nome si capisce l'epoca, questo ristorante è proprietà della stessa famiglia da un centinaio di anni ed ha mantenuto in sala l'impianto originale; ovviamente in cucina c'è stato un avvicendamento generazionale familiare. Il menù è strettamente del territorio, con piatti veramente buoni e belle porzioni; l'accoglienza è gentile e familiare. I casi "complicati" (vegani, vegetariani e compagnia bella) penso che non si troverebbero benissimo ma per il resto è un buon indirizzo.

Ristorante Pizzeria Bocca D'Ersa

02/04/2024: Clean and well furnished place, the dishes were all good from starter to dessert. The portions of the fixed menus are inconsistent compared to the à la carte dishes: the gentleman at the table next to us received a more generous first course (à la carte) than the one they brought us for 4 people (we took 4 menus at €40 each) and even the fried food for 4 was really poor (in many restaurants they carry that portion for 1 person). The most annoying thing of the evening, however, was the service. It was the Saturday before Easter and they brought us the dishes at the speed of a fast-food restaurant, then they made us get up 4 times to go into the room behind our table to get the tablecloths to set the table for the next day and as if that wasn't enough at 11 the waiters started complaining to each other because we didn't leave (there was also another table). We were having dinner at a restaurant with people we don't see much to have a quiet chat without anyone having to cook. Honestly, I found it really tasteless.
31/03/2024: Excellent restaurant. The fish menu is the best. The staff was quick and kind. The environment is very large, also suitable for groups
