Trattoria Tripolitania In Sarteano

A place to be and indulge in simple, honest Tuscany cuisine - what a pleasure to had the chance to get a sweat spot on a Saturday for lunch. We come back!

We had lunch at this restaurant in the historic center of Sarteano, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was homey, and the owner offered us delicious Cinta Senese ham as an appetizer. We ordered: a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici all'aglione, ravioli with butter and sage, baked potatoes, biscotti and vin santo, red wine and coffee. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

Tripolitania is a little gem like few others you can find.
