14/04/2026: We visited Fattoria L’Olmetto and it ended up being one of the most special experiences of my life. As soon as we arrived, I could see how beautiful the grounds were, but I had no idea what was about to happen that evening. We started in the restaurant where we ordered the ragu, a mixed salad, and an Aperol spritz each. Everything was absolutely delicious, we didn’t leave a single thing. After dinner, we were taken outside for what I thought was just a romantic drink under the moonlight. There was a table set up with beautiful florals and two chairs, surrounded by soft tea lights. It was honestly stunning. Little did I know, that was the moment I was about to be proposed to. It was perfect, and felt like a complete dream from start to finish. A massive thank you to the restaurant staff for playing their part so perfectly and keeping everything a complete surprise. I had absolutely no idea, and that made it even more special. They were all so warm, professional, and thoughtful throughout. The food, the setting, the atmosphere, everything was just incredible. I would recommend this place a thousand times over. Thank you again for such an unforgettable experience.

11/04/2026: Trattoria Anita, in the center of Florence, was a truly excellent discovery: an affordable yet authentic place, where the food is excellent and the atmosphere is genuine. We first ordered burrata with truffle, followed by ravioli with lampredotto and salsa verde, which were exceptional, and pici with duck ragù, which were truly delicious. We washed it all down with a very pleasant glass of Montepulciano and finished it off with a homemade dessert: an irresistible chocolate brownie. The friendly and knowledgeable hosts made the experience even more special, offering us expert advice and even giving us a piece of truffle, along with excellent tips on where to find it. A place that combines quality, friendliness, and fair prices: highly recommended.

The atmosphere is authentic, typically Tuscan, perfect for those seeking a relaxed yet refined environment. The dishes are simply excellent: quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and a cuisine that respects tradition, with that extra touch that makes all the difference. Each course was well-balanced and prepared with great care. The service was impeccable: attentive, present, but never intrusive. You can sense their passion for what they do. We truly had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a true experience in the heart of Chianti! 🍷 One detail that really struck us was hearing Tuscan spoken at neighboring tables: a simple thing, but it makes the experience even more authentic and immersive.

29/03/2026: We found the osteria by chance, around 2pm. The waiter kindly accomodated our party of four, as the place was almost full (with locals, which is always a good sign) and near closing time. The pasta, the meatballs and dessert were delicious. Decent wine list and spotless ambiance.

07/01/2026: Excellent schiacciata with quality ingredients. It's a street food place, so there's no bathroom, and the tables are outside, but sheltered in case of rain.

02/04/2026: Delicious pizza, very crispy and beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Roberto. They even cut and swapped our pizzas before bringing them to us, which was really kind of them. Definitely recommended.

03/02/2026: Great pizza, great service. This is a small pizzeria, with a small crew and it's always full, So reservation is required specially weekends. The menu offers different choices of pizza, the ingredients are good quality, and not on the cheap side like most pizzerias use, good quality reflects on the flavor. They also offer a beer menu, beer made in Toscany. I highly recommend this place. Prices are moderate.
