10/08/2025: All the staff were very friendly. The complex is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery and offers all the amenities. The price is reasonable, but the beach bar and on-site restaurants are a bit pricey. Breakfast is varied and high-quality.
09/08/2025: The ideal place to recharge after a very busy year. This was our second visit, and it more than confirmed the excellent rating of the previous one.

Ottimi i pici al barilotto, porzioni generose e ben condite, squisito il fungo porcino arrosto per le verdure saltate dovrebbero avvisare che sono molto saporite, secondo me c'era una passata di peperoncino. Un locale che invoglia a fare chiacchiere con gli altri commensali in una atmosfera rilassante
06/08/2025: Menu breve ma ricco di piatti tipici, prodotti di qualità ben cucinati. Si vede che è un ristorante storico che da anni cucina questi piatti. Se si vuole mangiare un buon cinghiale, consigliato! Staff simpatico e gentile.

22/07/2025: Superb pizzas and a great welcome. We arrived at 9 and the server found a solution for us immediately. Beers and pizzas are cheap and it does the job. I recommend it.

During our tour, we had lunch in a restaurant with a retro charm, a stylish homage to the 1950s and 1960s. The elegant atmosphere, with attention to detail, immediately won us over. The menu offers an interesting variety, and every dish chosen by me and the group proved delicious and refined.
✨ A culinary experience I highly recommend.

The duck foie gras was superb, and I think it was the first time I've ever eaten anything so delicious in my life. Every bite was intoxicating.
The male staff member's knowledge and careful advice were also very good.

Compliments to the truly kind waitress/owner. If you're passing through Altopascio, don't miss it!
12/07/2025: The attention and research into the quality of the raw material is tangible. The large selection of beers, the meat and other ingredients of the burgers, the cold cuts on the platters, are all a level (even two) higher than those you find in other places.
Finally, the competence and friendliness of Nicoletta and Stefano complete the wonderful evening at the Magione del Tau in the best possible way.

The owners demonstrate extensive knowledge of their natural wines: a very wide selection from all regions!
A particularly cool atmosphere with two DJ sets per week. A pleasant little terrace.
The dishes are simple but perfectly complement the fine wines.
