15/09/2025: Despite being close to the industrial area, the place looks nice. What's striking is the price, incredibly low! However, both the mixed antipasti and the tagliata are truly high-quality. I expected the homemade pasta to be a little better; the mushrooms were fresh, but the tagliatelle were a bit soft. Overall, I highly recommend it; we paid €25 each.

29/09/2025: We had the best dinner here!! This was our first night in Italy and arrived late so we were thankful this place was open. The owners were so sweet cause I think they could tell we were nervous Americans in a country where we don’t speak the language. They even gave us complimentary desert wine. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! Truly throughout the rest of our trip, this dinner was such a highlight. Please go check this place out for it will not disappoint!

17/10/2025: My first time here. The food is a notable step up from most. The flavors were perfectly balanced. I started with the onion rings a Gluten Free appetizer and they were soft and delicious. There are many GF options on their menu. Everything we ordered was perfectly spiced. We chose a very reasonably priced bottle of Viognier IGT which paired perfectly with our Biryani and Chicken Tandoori. Travelers should note that if you do not finish your bottle of wine you can take it with you as you leave. The staff was attentive and professional. The restaurant just celebrated 25 years which is commendable. Also the chef is well known in the local community as they are the number one catering company for large cultural events and Indian weddings of the area. An easy walk from the train station. We parked at the nearby underground parking called Porta al Prato.

01/11/2025: We spent three days in Tuscany and came to eat here three times (my pick was tartare). My friend has many allergies and the chef took all her requests very seriously. No eye rolling or rude responses. The food is very good, but what made us return is the friendliness, good sense of humour and kindness of people who work in this place. For everyone, who writes nasty reviews, I want to suggest shift the focus a bit and appreciate the beauty of the work that is done in this restaurant.

02/11/2025: My partner and I went for dinner last week, and we definitely won't be back. We're both vegetarians and were very disappointed by the limited selection of dishes (we went at 9:00 PM on a Friday night). The dining room wasn't crowded, but they'd already run out of one of the only two vegetarian "appetizers." Furthermore, of the five vegetarian dishes they offered, two were a salad and sautéed vegetables. We found the dishes overpriced for the portions and the workmanship. The service was slow and very poor, and the dining room was practically always left uncovered. I don't recommend it.

01/11/2025: Excellent lunch with a vegan and fish menu. The vegan ragù was delicious, and the spaghetti with bottarga was perfect. The desserts were excellent. ​Well-cooked, high-quality food. Recommended.

05/09/2025: It's been years since I've had such an excellent lampredotto sandwich or peposo. Lately, the "lampredottai" (lampredotto joints) I used to go to have lost some of their quality. Here, I found courteous, fast, and even friendly service, but above all, excellent quality ingredients. The sandwich bread is perfect and doesn't fall apart like it often does. It's also incredibly comfortable, with seating both inside and out. Well done, keep it up! I'll definitely be back again!!!

21/07/2025: Lampredotto is an institution in Florence, and every Florentine has their favorite lampredotto maker: Lapo is mine. When I met him, he amazed me by serving me cold Lambruschino with lampredotto, which I later discovered is fantastic in the summer because it "cuts the fat." But lampredotto isn't fatty; it's the leanest meat of the entire animal, and it was the only food I could eat after an operation that kept me on a strict diet for several months. In short: Lapo weaned me on lampredotto! And lampredotto is just the most famous of Lapo's dishes, which he uses all the "poor" cuts, from sinew to breast, to tripe, which he also reworks "on the plate" like inzimino, cacciatora, artichokes, and everything delicious you can imagine with the "fifth quarter." Can you say that? Lapo is a high-end tripe maker who doesn't show off and delivers high quality. I don't want to make comparisons, since every Florentine has their favorite tripe shop...

29/09/2025: Great pizzas, great atmosphere, divine tiramisu!!! During our week-long stay here, it was the most delicious! It is worth booking a table, because it is quite a popular place!

19/10/2025: The most wonderful dining experience. The food, drinks and service were all perfection. So much so we visited two nights in a row, and I've never done that before! A must visit if in Viareggio.

11/10/2025: The best option ever! We left Pisa for Florence and were starving. The restaurant was packed until 9 p.m., and the rest of the restaurants open after 7 p.m. We had to wait about two hours :( . We bought the best cheeses, cured hams, and salami, as well as bread and pickles, and we made our own. The extremely friendly owner gave us the best recommendations, and we grabbed a quick bite to eat before we got back on our way. Great value and incredibly delicious! Thanks for existing!

06/09/2025: I live in Florence but occasionally pop into Arezzo and stopped by this excellent gelateria. Probably the best gelato I've ever had, or at least one of the best. Selected ingredients, you can tell by the good information provided and taste it. I don't leave many reviews, but I deliberately sought this one because it truly speaks to excellence, in my opinion. It has nothing to do with the situation, but I'd like to advise the (owner?) not to respond harshly to negative reviews: there's no dispute about taste, and in your case, your quality alone is enough to justify any negative criticism. Try it and believe it.
