29/12/2025: What can I say about this superb discovery except that it's a must-see when you're passing through Florence's Ponte Vecchio?! The owners made us feel so welcome that they made us feel like old friends, not to mention the tasting of excellent Prosecco and other wines 🤗 The concept is simply brilliant, unforgettable. Go without hesitation to enjoy a relaxing break with such lovely people 😊

06/04/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance, but it was a real discovery! The atmosphere is very nice, rustic, and the food is truly delicious. It's a small restaurant with not many tables, but it's very charming and clean. There are many wines on display! It's like being in a cellar! The steak was incredibly tender and delicious!!! They make their own pastries... ...there's one thing that's a bit limiting, in my opinion...the kitchen closes at 2:00 PM!!! Given today's busy schedule, I'd recommend staying a bit longer...

18/03/2026: We can't rave enough about this family-run restaurant. An exceptionally good two-course lunch menu at a very good price, very friendly owners. You couldn't better fulfill the Italian lunchtime rule (look for a restaurant frequented by lawyers and construction workers).

04/04/2026: I'd been there before...and I knew what restaurant it was. Over time, they've confirmed their reputation. The meat, tender and deliciously light rib-eye steak. The food is excellent, including the fish, and the restaurant is well-stocked. The wines are up to par, with an excellent cellar and a competent staff. The price is reasonable for what they offer. I'll definitely return.

14/04/2026: A former farmhouse transformed into a restaurant with all the advantages and disadvantages that such a solution can have. The food is quite good, both the first and second courses, and the appetizers are delicious. I'm counting a bit over the top, but I see that's the trend in this town.

The decor is elegant and distinctive, with a touch of old-world charm that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The wine list is excellent, with an interesting selection of local wines. The true heart of the restaurant is Mr. Carlo, a unique presence at San Paolo. A great chatterbox, he's always ready to share his incredible story, which saw him transition from pastry making to cooking, creating a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. His warm welcome and attention to detail make him a true ambassador for the restaurant. With great charm and passion, he manages to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making every customer feel at home, recommending the daily specials and selecting the finest wines. His energy and zest for life are contagious, and made our dinner at San Paolo an unforgettable experience. We ordered: Pappardelle with duck ragù; Paccheri with scorpionfish ragù; Sea bass and red mullet millefeuille; Fresh tuna steak with rosemary on sweet and sour onions; Cheesecake; Apple charlotte, wine, and coffee. We spent €96, which was definitely worth it for the quality of the food and service. We will definitely be back.

19/04/2026: Excellent service, unique and unpredictable food. The only complaint: the fried food was a little bland, but otherwise highly recommended! The biscotti with coffee are a must-try!

13/04/2026: Very good pizza, you don't have to wait long for your food, and it's not very expensive. We bought two margaritas. We were delighted with the taste of the pizza. We'll gladly go back. I recommend this place.
