It was apparently closed, even though Google showed it as open. I managed to get in, but no one helped me.

Because there was no spice on the fish, we did not enjoy eating it at all. The salad was normal. Some parts of the meat tasted burned, so I could not finish it. Like the fish, we did not enjoy the meal. The potatoes also had no taste. The price was good, but the food was very bland.

A place with good food, where you set the table and serve yourself. First course and dessert are available for 4 PM, with free water (a great thing). The atmosphere (tables and bathrooms) could use a little more attention.

No coperto (a.k.a., cover/table charge), which was a really nice bonus. I came here twice during my trip and enjoyed both visits. The first time was around 5:30 PM, when it was still quiet, while the second time around 7:30 PM the restaurant was completely full. The staff were very friendly, and the portions were generous. The overall quality of the food was good, and the roasted potatoes served with the steak were flavorful and soft inside. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable.

It’s a fantastic place. As a tourist, I’d highly recommend coming here instead of eating at the restaurants inside the tourist area that mainly cater to visitors. It seemed like many locals come here as well, which is always a good sign. The staff were very friendly, and they could speak English to help us understand the menu. Water is self-service and free. After finishing your meal, you return the plates yourself — which honestly wasn’t a big deal for us at all — and there’s no service charge either. The portion sizes are huge, and the prices are extremely reasonable. One small suggestion for the owner: it might be better to collect payment in advance. When we went to pay after finishing our meal, the staff didn’t really remember what we had ordered. I’d worry that some dishonest customers might take advantage of that situation 😅 Hopefully that has never happened.

Very pleasant place and atmosphere. They set the table and clear it themselves. The dishes are very good and generous. I recommend it.
