15/08/2025: We had lunch here one night, the food was ok but we waited a lot to make the order and to get the food. The wine was cheap and good so thats a win.

If you're offering something this expensive, it would be appropriate to clearly state this. Avoid this place; but if you do end up there, be wary of the amaro offerings.

When you offer something verbally that's overpriced, you should, indeed, specify the price. I wouldn't think so if it weren't for the fact that another review of this kind has already appeared. Avoid this place, but if you do happen to be there, don't be fooled by the chatter.

08/08/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at Enoteca Gustavo during our stay in San Gimignano. Giorgio welcomed us with great kindness and passion! His expert advice allowed us to discover a superb selection of local pecorino cheeses, perfectly paired with carefully selected wines. We also had wonderful discussions about French wines and champagnes, in a friendly and authentic atmosphere. A must-visit for lovers of fine products, where you can take the time to savor and share.

06/08/2025: We stumbled upon this wine shop almost by chance during a stroll through San Gimignano, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of the trip. The atmosphere is super welcoming, relaxed, perfect for enjoying a good glass of wine. The owners, a mother and son, are truly friendly; we immediately felt at ease. He took the time to recommend and let us taste some excellent wine. The food was also a real treat: a mix of bruschetta and a platter of cured meats and cheeses, made just right, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Thanks again, and see you next time! 🍷

18/07/2025: The Sette Veli is good, I'm giving it 3 stars for the price!!! Paying 6 euros for a small single portion is a lot!! Plus, it's not that special to say: damn, it's worth it, buy it. Good, but no, wow, it's addictive. There are industrial quantities of desserts as good as this, even for less than half the price.

16/08/2025: When the bill arrived, we realized the prices didn't match the menu we were given. The €20 bill had become €27!!! We complained to the manager, and he corrected the bill to €20!!! What if we hadn't noticed? How many people pay and don't check??? Be careful!

28/07/2025: Myself and my wife got married at this venue in June and it was phenomenal. We had exclusive hire of the hotel for the duration of our stay having booked through a UK wedding company (Ionian Weddings) and it did not disappoint. The rooms themselves are great, clean and with air con. The pool is amazing and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices of the drinks from the cafe/bar area. Great food and staff, our guests loved it as well, and we can't recommend it enough.

16/08/2025: Absolutely delicious, everything is highly recommended, especially the truffle roast beef and the attentive, smiling service. I recommend it 100 percent. It's best to arrive before 8 p.m. for dinner; the restaurant fills up very quickly.

15/08/2025: Believe the hype. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Specials were all around porcini mushrooms, my wife had a delicious sea bream with porcinis and potatoes and I had cacciucco for the first time, full of fresh seafood. Delicious, not expensive bottle of bulgheri.
