L'Agrifoglio In Castellina marittima

L'Agrifoglio is the place to feel at home. Helpful staff, fast, and always courteous service. The menu changes seasonally and always offers a wide selection of both meat and fish. The dishes are meticulously prepared, and the flavors are never boring. Plus, the value is excellent. The restaurant has a large outdoor patio where you can enjoy the sunset overlooking the sea—what more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back!!

Simply outstanding. Everything about this place is exceptional, starting with the location. The setting is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views down the hillside all the way to the sea, along with a spectacular sunset. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient. The restaurant is perfect for couples looking for a romantic dinner, families with children, or larger groups celebrating together. To start, we ordered the beef tartare, served with incredibly delicious hand-cut fries, and the Catalana Cruda di Tonno. Both dishes were outstanding. We also enjoyed some freshly baked focaccia, which was absolutely delicious. For the main course, we had the homemade Pappardelle Tutta Caccia with a rich wild game ragù. The pasta was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and the portion was very generous. We also tried the skate wing with mayonnaise foam, which was equally impressive and perfectly prepared. To finish, we shared a tiramisu and a chocolate cake with apple filling and vanilla cream. Both desserts were the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're visiting Castellina Marittima and looking for incredible food paired with breathtaking panoramic views, this is the place to go. This restaurant is truly worth the trip, no matter where you're coming from. We will definitely be back.

We've eaten here twice now. The first time we sat outside, but on our next visit, like many others, we sat inside because of the wind. It's quite noisy inside, especially when it's busy, so an outdoor table is definitely preferable. The view from the front of the terrace is also lovely. The restaurant is charmingly decorated, and the service is very friendly and attentive. We can't understand the complaints about long wait times. Even when the restaurant is full, the wait times are perfectly acceptable. There's something for everyone on the menu, and we've enjoyed everything we've tried so far. The pizzas are also delicious, especially the Pizza Agrifoglio (see photo). The prices are perfectly reasonable, and we'll certainly be eating there again.

I discovered it at a wedding and recommend it for events, as well as for an al fresco lunch or dinner. Tuscan cuisine and excellent game options are offered. The staff is brilliant and friendly.

We had dinner last night at this wonderful place, a little gem in the Tuscan hills. Special mention to Vojta, always attentive and professional; Ale and Dani for welcoming us like family; and to all the staff, you guys are fantastic, we felt at home even from miles away.

We had lunch here after a walk in Marina di Cecina, recommended by the bartender at the bar where we had a small aperitif, Irene, we arrived at this truly beautiful place, an oasis of peace. The place presents itself very well both outside and inside, well-kept and clean. The staff is fantastic, young people who are fast and above all smiling and friendly. The food is truly excellent. We will definitely come back here to eat when we come back to take a trip around these parts. Absolutely recommended, try it and believe it! And thanks to Irene who recommended this place to us, a real gem.
