We stumbled upon this restaurant in Marina di Pisa by chance a couple of days ago. The place is tastefully decorated, and the food is plentiful and excellent. The soup is absolutely delicious. Huge plate with incredibly fresh shellfish, cooked to perfection. The staff is warm and ready to accommodate every need. We also ordered the cod mousse and paella for the next day. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended, both as a restaurant and as a deli!

One of the best restaurants in Tuscany.

A charming, light-filled venue. I find the combination of seafood specialties and dining options very appealing: a guarantee of quality. The food is excellent, but a special mention goes to the appetizers: always different, rich in flavor, and impeccably presented. An experience worth trying.

Spaghetti allo scoglio means: al dente spaghetti, clams (lupin and veraci), cherry tomatoes, mussels, and optional shrimp and mezzancolle. Other ingredients, served hot. Sorry, but there were spider mites in the potatoes. There's no such thing as a top restaurant, everyone sells frozen products and more... So Vesuvius turns upside down. Fresh salad, always in the kitchen, and a clearly visible menu. At the takeaway counter, however, there are elaborate and delicious dishes. I cook at home; these are serious things. The money you get, however, is good.

As usual it could be better in some aspects but I recommend it for the quality of the food and the quiet location.

Recommended by friends, and we tried it. The place was nice and clean, the food excellent, but the service was a bit sluggish. Luckily, a nice lady arrived shortly after we left, but she didn't have time to get our day back on track. The people who greeted us could have been more welcoming and had a smile (which doesn't cost anything), rather than a pissed-off look.

Four appetizers and a first course, all fish-based. The dessert was also excellent. We'll be back.

A favorite place, we go at least once a week. The menu is top-notch, with some items changing daily depending on availability. The desserts are all homemade and delicious (at Christmas they make a Nobel-worthy panettone). The place is welcoming, and in the warmer months, you can sit outside in the sun. Even the music (which is usually awful and loud in bars, because the masses have no musical background) here is carefully chosen and played at a comfortable volume. There's also a wide selection of ready-to-go dishes, made fresh daily. On the shelves between the tables, there are packages from other producers: pasta, rice, tuna, sauces, oil, honey, and more, also chosen with great care and attention to quality. Long live the Mediterranean!
