12/10/2025: A pleasant surprise! Excellent food, a variety of dishes, fish, meat, sandwiches, and pizza. The beef stew is exquisite! A special mention for the young woman who looked after us throughout the evening. It's a shame we didn't ask her name! Kind, friendly, professional, and sweet, which never hurts. A restaurant where you immediately sense the care and attention they give to their customers. I'll be back.

06/10/2025: I finally tried it! Maybe it's because I've always lived in Siena, but I'd never been to this historic place just steps from Campo de' Fiori. My fault. I went with a group of friends, and thank goodness for that. Here, the focus is on substance, you could tell right away. The cuisine is our own, authentic, and respectful of the ingredients. We ate mouth-watering first courses, and the meat was fabulous, cooked just right. Some at the table might have been looking for more frills, but for me, when the food is good, it's good and that's it. The atmosphere is that of an old-fashioned tavern, without a lot of modern gadgets. You can tell they put passion into it. At the end, it seemed a bit rushed, but that's okay. In short, a nice discovery. A place that doesn't make smoke, but only roast, and good roast. I'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: We spent a weekend in Siena, a beautiful city... and we had lunch and dinner in various places, but (on the recommendation of the B&B) we had dinner in this restaurant, really "very very" nice, but we were truly impressed by the welcome and the dishes... both the managers and the staff are incredibly kind, but what left us speechless were the dishes. In addition to the appetizer, I had the Pappardelle with wild boar, I assure you that I have eaten many, but NEVER like these! ...a spectacle (I had the Chef compliment me)... My wife had a spectacular beef steak and then the desserts... and not the "usual" desserts... My wife had a Lemon Tart (sublime), and I had a Ricotta Mousse with Peach Jam and Hazelnut Crumble... delicious... 11/10/2025: Truly a generous welcome, as were the dishes. I had the delicious and unforgettable pici all'aglione, followed by the wild boar stew, simply perfect. A trio of cheeses with zucchini, mint, and lemon jam. In short, it's worth taking the car and traveling 200 km for a unique gastronomic experience. I digested it all, even though I went to bed right afterward. I highly recommend it.

14/09/2025: The place is lovely, surrounded by greenery, with a well-kept garden. The Tuscan crostini was excellent, but the fried flowers were cold and the pici were a bit overcooked. The vegetables were good, and the bill wasn't the cheapest, but it was acceptable. Unfortunately, they didn't have grilled meat for lunch today! What a shame!

17/10/2025: Villa Sermolli has incredible charm. Built on a hillside, it features numerous stairs and corners inside, making it a real adventure to get from point A to point B. Stunning views, stunning ceiling paintings, an old cooking area with an open fireplace, an old bread oven... to name just a few highlights. The breakfast was delicious, and when the temperature permits, there's a lovely garden for breakfast outdoors. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was also larger than average. Everyone was very nice, and we received a very warm welcome. Thank you for the wonderful time we were able to spend here.

The basil wasn't fresh and had no aroma whatsoever. One of the pizzas was completely burned underneath. One out of five, thankfully, was remade without any fuss and cooked without burning, but I wouldn't have served the first one. The price was honestly a bit steep: €22 for a pizza, a medium draft beer, and a caffè corretto (with a dessert for one person, the cost of which was split between five people) in a room where conversation was impossible due to a birthday party (but we're at a pizzeria...), and especially with ingredients like that, it's not worth it. It's a shame to leave a negative review, because the people were truly kind and nice, but I won't be returning. I hope this review helps you reflect on how to improve, without feeling like you're the victim of unfair criticism, because I believe I've written everything very objectively. Good luck.

07/09/2025: You arrive and can park your car and not move it for the whole week... near the center there are bicycles to get around if you don't want to go for walks, there's a very beautiful harbor for strolls during the day and in the evening... The hotel offers everything. You arrive in a very welcoming place, the owners are very willing to accommodate their guests. Rooms include a standard size for two and the others for five people: a double bed on the first floor and a three-bed room on the second floor in a mezzanine. Everything is very well-kept and clean. Then we move on to the restaurant by the pool, which is large and beautiful, surrounded by greenery. There's plenty of space and a bar, a whirlpool, a pool table, table football, and shaded loungers. From there you can access the beach, which is connected to another bathroom. There's another pool with beach huts, a bar, and games for small and older children... the beach is well-equipped... The food at the restaurant is good, they're quick and very friendly here too. We personally had a great time, as did my in-laws, who stayed two weeks in July and two in September. Then, as I always say, I recommend it, but everyone can have different opinions. The only downside is a few mosquitoes, but that's fine, there's a lot of greenery.
