Dinner for 4, with friends. Very good appetizers, we only found the spaghetti perhaps not well mixed with the fish but the excellent seared tuna and the grilled octopus more than made up for it. Fair prices

Restaurant located in a lovely alleyway in the center of Porto Azzurro, with an informal but welcoming atmosphere. Even though we hadn't booked, they had us seated within half an hour. Fish menu, typical Tuscan with different proposals between first and second courses; good dishes perhaps not excellent, good desserts a little high in price. Courteous and prepared staff. Account in line with the proposal.

Small place, with internal and external seats. It is advisable to book if you want to find a place, especially in August. The idea of ​​the menu on a blackboard hanging near the table is nice. High-quality service, quality food: fresh and well-prepared fish, enhanced flavours. Good value for money, recommended!

Discovered on a very hot August evening. One of the most typical taverns we ate in during our stay on the island. The style of the place is truly original with the neon lights hanging next to old boat components. The rest is rustic and spartan; we really liked it. We played it safe with the catch of the day (spaghetti with red snapper, sea bass and stuffed turbot) and it was all too welcome. The guys who served us were good, they were friendly and quick despite the place being full both inside and outside. What a good beer from Elba which stunned us and refreshed us a bit from the heat. We had a good time and it comes naturally to us to often remember the evening we came here to eat.

31/03/2024: very beautiful even if seen for 10 minutes
16/01/2024: Beach frequented mainly by Germans, very suitable for those who love diving. The characteristics are rocks and gravel, the only flaw for swimmers who need to wear suitable shoes, for the rest what can I say, very transparent water and the beach partly shaded by large trees (tamarisk) and therefore very relaxing even for those who suffer a lot from the heat ,.....hot which is felt as it is in a narrow cove. Be careful of jellyfish on some days. One last thing to say, but no less important is the route, very beautiful and panoramic, which takes place from Porto Azzurro to Barbarossa, a pedestrian path between large cacti and stretches in the shade of large plants and every now and then a short stop for admire the panorama of this part of the island. Journey of approximately 20 minutes.

26/03/2024: In Livorno for a conference, I opted for this family-run restaurant, also due to its proximity to the hotel. Very friendly and courteous staff, fast service. The first evening I had a seafood appetizer (more than decent and abundant, 7 mini portions), spaghetti at the friends' tavern (very good), beer, dessert (excellent) and digestive. The second evening I chose the seafood and San Pietro fish ravioli, both really good, plus the usual dessert and digestive. Very reasonable price, also considering the fish-based dinner: 25-30 euros both evenings. The only flaw is the small size of the place (which however makes table service quick... everything has a pro and a con), so it is advisable to book a table. In conclusion, fully satisfied: should I pass through Livorno again, I will certainly return.
18/03/2024: Excellent food, I tried the seafood menu which allows you to taste two first courses + fried food, the pasta was exciting. Friendly environment and very courteous staff. A thousand thanks!
