30/08/2025: A family birthday party to enjoy a delicious and plentiful seafood paella. Sangria with excellent wine, and dessert with a huge baba with fabulous mascarpone cream. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. It's not our first time there, and the pizza was also top-notch.

01/09/2025: I had the pleasure of trying something truly unique at Umberto Pizzeria Contemporanea in Lucca. Instead of the classic pizza, I opted for their "pane araba" (Arabic bread) and was amazed. This isn't just any bread, but a true creation: a special focaccia, which they call "Padellino" (Little Pad), made with three different starter cultures and three different flours. The texture is a masterpiece of contrasts: soft and light on the inside thanks to the pre-steaming and crispy on the outside thanks to the oven finish. The result is a perfect and surprising balance. To round things off, we shared a delicious cheesecake, deconstructed as seen in the photos. The experience was further enhanced by the splendid location in the piazza, a true landmark in Lucca and home to the famous Lucca Summer Festival. Sitting there, under the trees, enjoying these delights was a true pleasure. An unforgettable culinary experience, which encourages me to return as soon as possible to finally try their pizza. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: I went there for a birthday, set menu. The appetizer was good but "poor" in the sense that there were a few slices of cold cuts, some bruschetta, and small potato cakes. Everything was good, but a bit lackluster. The two first courses were average. The waiters were kind, but we had only asked for one thing for a small child, overcooked pasta. It was fine to eat already chewed, and it arrived after a while, more than al dente... There was still some soul in the pasta. The outdoor setting was very nice and well-kept.

12/07/2025: A wonderful experience. We celebrated my daughter's graduation with a delicious dinner. All the people who looked after us during the evening were very kind and talented. 20/06/2025: Very positive experience. Starting from the location, the place is really characteristic and very welcoming. The service is quite fast despite the large turnout during the weekend. The chicken strip sandwich is really tasty, perhaps the type of bread used could be improved as it is a little dry. The appetizers and desserts are also good. For the more fussy eaters, there are no cutlery.

08/06/2025: Advice? Only if your favorite rotisserie is closed. Arriving at 9:30 pm for the second round, the welcome was rather cold and unfriendly. After 20 minutes of waiting we were seated. The service was kind but very disorganized: the dishes were brought first to other tables and then (maybe) to ours. We had onion rings, mozzarella in carrozza, cicciagallo and house cockerel. All normal, nothing exceptional. With a Coca-Cola, the final bill was €40. A place to consider only if you have no alternatives.

26/08/2025: The pizza was so-so, but the traditional menu and desserts were delicious, especially the fried food. Compliments to the staff, who were all extremely kind. To entertain my little girl, the pizza chefs even gave her a pizza ball to shape and then cooked it.

24/08/2025: I returned yesterday after a long time, and I must say it did not disappoint. We ate outside, and it was perfect. The atmosphere, both inside and out, is welcoming and well-kept. The waiters were attentive, kind, and charming. The service was excellent. Yesterday they had fresh porcini mushrooms, and we couldn't resist. We ordered fried ones as an appetizer, along with polenta crostini with mushrooms, and coccoli with prosciutto and stracchino cheese: everything was perfect. The pizza was delicious; it's just how I like it, thin and flaky. The first courses were excellent; I had the seafood tortelli with squid ragù and zucchini flowers, and I highly recommend them! The dessert was also good (the crème brûlée is definitely worth a try). The ingredients used are top-quality. Wheelchair accessible, and if you can't find parking in front of the restaurant, it's easy to find one nearby. Prices are reasonable for this type of restaurant. Highly recommended!

21/07/2025: We had a wonderful time, enjoying the cool air and excellent pizza. I'd been wanting to try pizza at Pinolo for weeks. The waiter was super-smart; he immediately replaced a wrong pizza after realizing his colleague's mistake. Everything was good, even the dessert!!

31/08/2025: A lively restaurant on the Livorno waterfront, perfect for enjoying authentic Livorno cuisine. The menu offers well-executed traditional dishes, offering a good value. I highly recommend the fried cod and spaghetti with clams, as well as the seafood pappa al pomodoro, original and surprising. Don't miss the squid ink rice: truly delicious and "black." The wine list is discreet and well-thought out. The service is attentive and attentive. At the end of the meal, the surprise of homemade "Nutellino" is a welcome treat, delicious and fun, a touch that makes you feel right at home.

27/08/2025: A seafood restaurant with a very good price-quality ratio (and by my standards, that's very difficult). All the crudités are good...the cacciucco, the fried fish...in short, it's highly recommended. The atmosphere is also nice and the service is definitely good.

24/08/2025: We chose Scuderie de l'Antinoro for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From our first visit, we were assisted by Matteo, an extremely professional, kind, and helpful person. He answered every question we had before the event, making the preparation stress-free. The venue offers a beautiful dining room and a wonderful garden for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks. Our guests were absolutely thrilled with the quality, variety, and abundance of the aperitifs and appetizers served in the perfectly landscaped garden. The after-dinner reception was also highly appreciated, where, in addition to the cake, the staff remained available until the end of the evening to serve small pastries, liqueurs, and coffee.
