Gelateria Angiolino In Lucca

12/04/2026: We're still waiting for them... Good food, a typical trattoria in a quiet location a little outside the city center, at the foot of the mountains. A good selection of wines and spirits. The prices, however, aren't those of a trattoria, but rather those of a restaurant. The place is cute and the waiters are friendly. As soon as we arrived, they offered us a truly delicious freshly made schiacciata. We didn't try the pizza, but the oven looks promising. Unfortunately, the biggest problem was the service: it was too slow. There were two waiters for the entire room (about 17-20 people at peak times) and the service took a very long time. At first, we thought it was a place to return to with friends or family, but by the end of the evening, we changed our minds precisely because of the slow service. If you're looking for a place to spend a lot of time at the table... this is perfect 😅 Recommended: the tartare and the banana dessert.

22/03/2026: Coming to Giannino's is an experience worth repeating again and again!! The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the preparation is equally excellent. The owners are kind and welcoming, and the price-quality ratio is a rarity these days. Truly, WELL DONE!!
