08/08/2025: Amazing pizza, probably the best we have had in Italy. Highly recommended. The staff were amazing. We accidentally left a bag there, went back hours later and he had put it aside for us.

02/09/2025: Pappardelle were very good, and the wine was fine, but unfortunately the meat left much to be desired. I ordered a 1.5 kg Florentine steak, cooked rare, and it arrived with the fillet charred and generally medium rare. It looked more like a rib-eye steak, and despite my attempts to point this out, there was no response. €98 for just the rib-eye steak/Florentine steak, I'd say way too much for Tuscan standards, let alone presented in this way. Only on the way out did I notice that it said 100% Piedmontese meat, decidedly unusual for a Tuscan trattoria.

02/09/2025: Fabulous tartare and first courses. The Florentine steak is a sure bet: no weighing, just a caliper... I'm a bit hesitant about the 1.5 kilo, but the price was right. A pleasant evening with friends. If you're passing by, ask for it to be weighed before cooking! The weight determines the price. Ciao!!!

12/08/2025: Delicious food, I especially recommend the gnocchi alla Lella (with their secret ingredient!), but we tried various random dishes from the menu and everything was delicious. The staff and owners were very friendly. We'll be back!

01/09/2025: The pizzas were excellent, they even have a Sicilian specialty: horse meat pizzoli. The waitress was very pleasant despite the large number of customers. She served the right pizzas to the right people, the desserts were superb. The pizza chef was also very nice.

07/07/2025: Ho festeggiato il mio 60 compleanno sabato sera, volevo fare i complimenti a tutti i ragazzi di sala, super professionali, attenti a tutto. Un complimento grande grande a Marco e la sua brigata, per gli ottimi piatti che abbiamo gustato, prodotti ottimi e veramente gustosi. Dall'antipasto un insalata di mare tiepida, alla tagliata di tonno, ai paccheri allo scoglio, un fritto asciutto e croccante, whauuuu tutto veramente ottimo, e che dire della millefoglie con gocce di cioccolato. Il tutto inondato da un ottima bollicina. I miei ospiti sono rimasti tutti entusiasti, bravi bravi. Grazie mille ancora per tutto continuate così.

29/07/2025: The best pizza in the world!! Finally, a true pizza master! You can taste the dough made with top-quality flour and "only sourdough" from the first bite. Each loaf rises over time, resting and not using industrial, quick-rising yeasts. I can finally eat a pizza that doesn't leave you feeling bloated, thirsty, or trigger headaches. The place, though simple, is staffed by very welcoming, professional, and helpful people. If you want to taste the difference, you absolutely have to try it. Afterward, it will be hard to be satisfied!!

15/07/2025: Ho scelto questo ristorante toscano per festeggiare il mio 40^ compleanno insieme a mio marito. D'estate si mangia in giardino, magari davanti all'aiuola popolata da simpatiche tartarughe. Il menu "Greatest Hits" è un incredibile viaggio nella cucina toscana con idee contemporanee ma con tutto il sapore della tradizione. Tutto il menu è superlativo con picchi di eccellenza. Geniale la quaglia arrostita con il creme caramel ai funghi. Indimenticabile il risotto fagiano e mandorle. Non da meno i dolci, sia la rivisitazione della zuppa inglese, sia "I love Siena", un semifreddo ai ricciarelli. Servizio cortese e caloroso. Prezzo adeguato a quanto offerto.

10/07/2025: Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí. Todo estuvo genial, desde los entrantes hasta los platos principales y los postres. Todos los pequeños detalles que nos dieron, desde el pan hasta los pimientos rojos espumosos y los pequeños dulces del final, también fueron maravillosos. Nos sentamos afuera en el jardín y fue encantador. El servicio fue bueno, estuvieron allí cuando los necesitábamos pero no estaban invadiendo el lugar. Merece totalmente la estrella Michelin. Muy recomendable.

18/08/2025: Unfortunately, I don't agree with the reviews. The food was certainly fresh, but it was prepared in a way that was too adventurous in my opinion. I can't say I had a bad experience, but it wasn't what I was looking for.

14/08/2025: First of all, everything was fine and good. They even gave us a free appetizer from the restaurant (the picture with the three baguette slices). The ambiance and the steaks were really good, if a bit pricey. The staff was friendly. I wasn't so pleased that we had to pay €4 per person for the table (€12 for three people), which was the only time we did this on vacation, and that the tip (€5 for the tip) was automatically added to the bill. I always like to tip (I gave one this time too), but only as much as I think is appropriate.

16/08/2025: Cruella, like Cruella De Vil, is overly feminine in management. I almost preferred the old management in Pistoia. Women in full view at the counter, with scrutinizing eyes, and the men toiling in the kitchen! Well done... ha ha ha! What kind of environment have you created?????????

22/08/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in Lucca, always on thw prixwg side but good. Went back after 3 months and was surprised to see this Lucca tradition turned to become a tourist trap too. Taglioline con le Vonge with 4!!! Vongole seriously? Definitely won’t go back or recommend. So manu better options in Lucca Centro

18/08/2025: Average pizzas. My criticism is directed at the service, where a middle-aged blonde waitress took it upon herself to act as if she were an acquaintance. She was grumpy and nervous. It seemed like she was doing me a favor by serving me the pizza. She grimaced when I answered, visibly irritated, and responded in a surly tone. You can be in a hurry, yes, but the wait staff can never afford to be surly with customers, especially those who have been kind from the start. It's a shame for the rest of the staff. Please respect those who keep your pizzeria afloat. Next time, Charlie Brown.
