09/11/2025: A wonderful restaurant where we spent a truly enjoyable evening. The food was all excellent (I had the tripe, delicious) and the crema catalana was equally delicious. What made the evening special, however, was Leandro. Always smiling, extremely kind, and with a truly sincere heart. I was truly impressed. Thank you.

27/10/2025: Pici with Cinta Senese, followed by steak and tagliata 3 pepe. Everything was fantastic!!! The lady was very nice. The climb is a dirt road. Very doable by motorbike.

28/06/2025: Quick bite before watching a movie under the stars. I love that they accommodate how hungry you are. They cut the pizza to the size you want. Perfect when you are just wanting a little something. Fast service

25/06/2025: The pizza is by the slice (slices by weight) and it is excellent, quality raw materials.. Lots of variety The staff is friendly. You can eat inside, there are tables.

23/09/2025: This was one of the worst meals we have had in Italy during our 6 weeks travel and the rudest service! We reserved the table for 14:30. The moment we walked in almost empty restaurant, the server greeted us that they will not have much time to prepare our meals. They claimed the left messages to inform us about “late” reservation. There were no text messages, nor e-mails from them. We set and even without giving us a chance to look at the menu, the server start explaining very fast each listed dish. We could not comprehend what was he saying except that there is no time for this or that. Due to my egg allergies, I was not given any other option but to order the risotto. I asked for the risotto not to be all dente, but well cooked. I got the opposite: crunchy rise in off putting smell of yellow sauce with speck of powdered truffles. The presentation was not appealing either. The wine book was ridiculously large. It looked like there were hundreds of pages in leather cover. We ordered the wine we knew since they were in rush to see us out. The service was very disappointing. We did not expect it in the restaurant that was reviewed for Michelin star. To elaborate: at the end of the meal we were served tiny complimentary “uglies”, as Italian call marengo cookies. I know that main ingredient is egg white. The server insisted that it’s not. The chef heard him and called him for a chat. He returned to us and start reciting the explanation of the ingredients, and one of them was egg white! I stopped him and made a point that egg white as a part of the egg and that I am allergic as he was advised earlier. He left our table in obvious anger and start talking to a colleague behind the bar in upset voice. He did not even apologize for the mistake. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody. Why and for what they even got a chance to be reviewed by Michelin is enigma to me.

21/09/2025: Amazing experience!!! As a New Yorker, I gauge everything relative to the great New York City. I must say, this restaurant delivers!!! Definitely NY quality. The food is incredible, the ambience amazing, and the staff is superb. How this restaurant has eluded a Michelin star, I don’t know, but get in before they get one (or more) and the prices go up! Price is extremely fair and reasonable. I recommend the truffle tasting experience!

05/11/2025: Cocktail 🍸 Martini Shrine devoted to an almighty nonsensical entity from other wordly plans of existence. Leave your tributes to the local oracles of the unholy ethereal potions of brief eternal relief. Never shall the nails on Quelo rust! In case they should just polish them.

02/10/2025: Great atmosphere, excellent value cocktails / aperetivo. Very lively but still able to have a conversation. All the drinks we had were perfectly made, as well as the small bites plate (only 3 euros too)! The only negative was the fact lots of smokers stand right outside the bar, so some of smoke wafts inside without any escape. I would recommend having a separate smoking area or asking smokers to smoke in another location. Service from the bartenders was wonderful, had a true family / friends feel to it. Maybe another suggestion to further improve beyond 5* (small salty snacks selection e.g. Potato chips / peanuts etc).

09/08/2025: I often go there to eat in or get takeout. The pizza chef is very good, the food is good. The kitchen is also very good. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent prices.

29/07/2025: Very kind, we had an issue caused by Justeat, but we resolved it between us. We didn't dine there. Anyway, the pizzas were okay.

19/10/2025: We went on a Saturday night, so we understand the crowds and the chaos that can arise among the waiters in the dining room. Therefore, realizing there was a long wait once we got there, we chose an appetizer to share just to pass the time. From there, we didn't see any more food for over an hour, when we asked for an explanation, especially since all the other tables who arrived after us had already been served (even though they had gotten appetizers earlier). After another 15 minutes, the pizzas arrived, which were also good (although the tomato sauce was a little too watery in my opinion), but obviously, after almost two hours of sitting and waiting, we didn't enjoy them as much as we wanted. Too bad

20/09/2025: The calzone was burnt but raw, both on top and bottom: the dough was stringy as if it were still baked, but the sides of the surface were charred.

08/10/2025: Loved our dinner, we were group of 8 and everyone enjoyed it! We chose to have the steak Florentine which is very popular here and it was cooked to perfection. One of our guests preferred it more done than the medium rare. The kitchen heated up a plate that she could cook her pieces on to make them well done. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and suggesting wine and meal options. Our dinner was fantastic and we each received a shot of limoncello on the house at the end of the night. Very cute and comfortable atmosphere. Not a very big place but nothing here is we would highly recommend it.

08/10/2025: We were part of a group with a set meal so I can't comment on individual dishes but our choice of various types of meat and the side dishes was good. They were also very good about accommodating people with special dietary needs and switching out the set menu for alternatives

28/09/2025: We fell in love with the location and the two owners, Thomas and Raniero, who are both professionals. I'm leaving this review especially for you, future spouses. At Amici del Colle, we found professionalism and attention to detail for our wedding day. They helped us with everything and made us happy! Large, fenced parking lot with the option of leaving your car overnight, as they have a shuttle service that takes you to your booked hotel and picks you up in the morning. At our wedding, we had several vintage cars and were worried about how to reassure the owners of these cars, but Amici del Colle put our minds at ease by placing a valet at the entrance who helped with the various maneuvers for all the guests. They also recommended other vendors because we weren't from the area; they were all excellent and knowledgeable. We didn't have a wedding planner, so we were a little worried about the table settings. We asked Raniero how we wanted them, and he was EXCELLENT at setting up the tables just the way I liked them. Let's talk about the food: WE MADE A GREAT IMPRESSION!! All the guests complimented us on how well they ate. We had made an unusual request for a wedding: we wanted beer instead of wine, and not only did they accommodate our request, but we also had a choice of three delicious craft beers. I didn't even have to worry about the cake; they took care of it, and it was one of the best I've ever had at a wedding. Let's talk about the location: beautiful, well-kept, clean, and, above all, with a plan A if it's sunny, and a plan B if it rains. I'll conclude by talking about the prices: in our opinion, given the quality of the food, the beauty of the location, and the fact that they took away any problems and worries, we paid a fair price and were happy. Also, because the complex provided the wedding cake, the shuttle service, and we, the newlyweds, received a complimentary hotel room. So, young future spouses, we strongly recommend you consider this location for your big day, because from experience, we can tell you that ours was wonderful and unique.

08/10/2025: The restaurant is located in the Nievole Valley, and boasts a quaint and well-appointed atmosphere. There's also a patio and an outdoor garden for the summer. The food is classic Tuscan, everything excellent, and the staff and owners are very friendly. Highly recommended. If you can't find a parking spot on the street, there's a small parking lot to the right of the restaurant entrance.

20/10/2025: Competent staff, very good pizza, but their strong point is the Cecina: one of the best I've ever eaten.
