04/11/2025: A small, cozy restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. Delicious dishes, including the homemade pasta with mushrooms and sausage, the Florentine steak, and the French fries, and the desserts are excellent.

24/10/2025: Wanted to love it, but didn’t. First they said zucchini flowers were finished for the season…..then the friendly waiter acquiesced and got me some. Every table around me also ordered it without the same song and dance. Only run out for non-locals? Then they recommended a stuffed potato filled pasta with porcini mushroom which was stuffed with SWEET POTATO which they didn’t mention and the flavour was just….so so. I didn’t see a single other table order it… read into that what you will. White house wine was awful, I had a sip and left it. They don’t offer glasses only a carafe which is kinda cheeky for lousy box wine. Servers acted friendly, lots of Italian spoken around me. No limoncello offered, despite other tables getting some. Disappointing to be charged 44 eur for an underwhelming meal which was largely vegetarian.

16/09/2025: We weren't exactly happy with this restaurant. The pappardelle with wild boar was very pale, the sauce was missing, and the tagliata was just a thin slice of meat, nothing like tagliata. It was a disappointment, I must say.

25/10/2025: Delicious (served warm) croissants with pistachio cream. Prices are surprisingly low – croissants 1.25 euros, caffe corretto 2 euros. I recommend it.

05/07/2025: Five of us went there twice for dinner, each time making a reservation for the morning. This is especially necessary on weekends. The ambiance in the heart of the old town is great. The service is very good, and we were also impressed by the pizzas. A standard pizza costs 8 to 10 euros. There are also specialty versions (e.g., with truffle), which range from 10 to 16 euros. The waiters all speak good English. We didn't wait long for our food, even though it was full. I can 100% recommend this restaurant!

20/10/2025: My partner and I went out for dinner on Friday evening. We were very happy with everything: the food was truly delicious (we had the mixed fried food, Angus steak, roast potatoes with Catalan cream, and berry cheesecake). The fried food was truly delicious, especially the brains. The steak was cooked to perfection, served hot, with incredibly soft fat. The potatoes were truly tasty, and the desserts were delicious. I would, however, like to compliment the staff who served us: they were a very young man and woman, truly brilliant. They gave us plenty of time to decide what to order, were efficient in bringing our dishes, and above all, were extremely kind, much more so than many of their older colleagues. We will definitely be back!

11/10/2025: A simple yet welcoming place, with tagliatelle with sea amberjack, well-served and plentiful fried calamari, and a house white wine from Cantina Santini, a solid confirmation. Quick service and fresh seafood, as expected.

19/10/2025: Excellent pasta and house wine. Lovely and warm. The wait staff was understanding of our poor Italian. We didn't feel rushed. We will return.

02/11/2025: We had a reservation for ten people, and after a 35-minute wait we ordered. The first courses were decent, but one person received the wrong entree despite repeating their order several times. A second course (Kids' menu of fries and croquettes) was soaked in oil. The same thing happened for dessert: we ordered three regular panna cottas and were served with ingredients we didn't order. The worst thing happened when we were waiting to pay: I was in line to pay the bill and a waitress grabbed me and pulled me by my backpack to get me away from the counter. Absolutely not recommended.

20/10/2025: First night of trip, so chose somewhere local. Very local. My apartment was pretty much upstairs! On-line booking possibly helped, as it was filling up. Great table for a single, with a view into the kitchen, so could watch the chefs at work - and then eat the results. Only disappointment that the Florentine Steak is for 2 people minimum, so had to miss out on that. And judging from what arrived at the next table, that was my loss!
