Solid 4 stars. We were about 1h before siesta yet only pastas were available. Good quality home cooking. Nothing fancy, but fresh and tasty. Service is pleasant and quick. Very hot inside though and no A/C (or it was turned off).

A village restaurant with excellent food, freshly prepared pasta. A family-like welcome. You don't come for the location; the place is presented as a beautiful village restaurant should be, with a family atmosphere. You come here to enjoy simple, traditional dishes. Kudos to the excellent management.

Rustic place, good food, shame about the way reservation requests are handled. If it were in a city, refusing a request for dinner for two consecutive evenings for just two people, specifying that any time of their choosing was fine, would mean closing the business in a few months.

Highly praised, but a more detailed review is warranted.
The ambiance is okay. Everything is a bit dated. We sat outside, on plastic chairs with paper tablecloths. The view was quite nice.
The pasta first course was unimpressive. Second course: wild boar prepared two different ways, with boiled and oven-roasted vegetables. The meat was very tender and flavorful.
Dessert: panna cotta and tiramisu. Good.
Overall: Good home-style cooking.

It's somewhat remote, located in a Tuscan mountain village, but the journey was well worth it. A very pleasant atmosphere with a friendly welcome. All the dishes are homemade regional specialties, freshly prepared daily. Ample parking is available.
