Very kind and welcoming staff. Excellent platters and spectacular testaroli! The desserts are also delicious. Next time I'd like to try the goat cheese with salad and fruit; it looked wonderful. A must-try when I'm in the area...

We had lunch at this restaurant on the air-conditioned veranda and had a great time. The staff was friendly and fast. The food was good and well-presented. The prices were reasonable. I recommend booking, especially for the air-conditioned veranda. Recommended. Tiziano

Start your vacation with an unplanned stop in Pontremoli.... If there's a traffic jam on the highway, get off and relax here. Super affordable, friendly staff, and amazingly good food. The plum jam is fantastic!!!! We'll be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

My first experience with "testaroli," a typical local first course consisting of a sort of "fake tortellone" (essentially just one of two layers), soft and meaty, and topped in various ways; I enjoyed them with pesto.
The atmosphere is comfortable, especially for those passing through. The staff is friendly, helpful, and, above all, very efficient and quick with their service. We hadn't booked, but they immediately gave us a table.
Prices are reasonable (the first courses are very reasonable), and portions are adequate.
The dessert selection is impressive, and they're all homemade. I particularly recommend the "latte in piedi," a sort of crème caramel with a delicate and lingering flavor.

This restaurant just outside the historic center of Pontremoli offers a casual yet refined atmosphere. We were a couple, bringing our dog, and they were very professional, accommodating both our dog's needs (a quiet, outside table with a water bowl) and mine (I'm vegan). We ate well and got the price right. We hope to return for the testaroli!

The galletto al mattone was excellent, but the baked potatoes were a bit less so. The desserts are the real highlight, in my opinion. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the particularly hot day, I can't say that the restaurant, which isn't air-conditioned, is what I'd call an ideal location. I'm giving it a low rating, although I'd increase it to five for the kindness of the manager (or the person who gave us the bill) and the small discount.

I had dinner alone during a motorcycle tour. I didn't have a reservation, so I had no problems. I tried the testaroli al burro for the first time, and they were very good... followed by a tagliata with potatoes and pancetta, also very good and tender. The portions are more than adequate, and the prices are average. I'd say everything is 5-star, except for the service, which is very sketchy... except for the waiters' professionalism, but I don't see that as a negative because it's a trattoria after all. I'd look into some solution for the numerous flies outside.
