Lovely food, but chaotic. Had to ask the waiter more than once for items we ordered. Like the open kitchen so you could see it all being cooked.

We bumped into Ristorante Trattoria on April 30 and had a delightful evening with fantastic food and wine. Overall, our best meal during our 10 days in Italy! David, our waiter, was helpful about deciding our order and was attentive all evening. When we return to Florence, we will definitely go back.

AMAZING!! everything from the service to the place itself!! the truffle pasta, the rigatoni and a red sauce that looked boring but was one of the most amazing things i’ve eaten ( even being raised NY italian) the bistecca Florentine Steak- perfection . you have to go!!

Came in without a reservation because the restaurant I wanted to go to was fully booked that night. I ordered the ossobucco and it was fantastic. The cappellacci stuffed with potato and drenched in wild bore sauce was amazing.

One of the multitude of trattorias and osterias dotting the landscape. Is it better than most - hardly, but whoever gave them high marks is prone to exaggeration. That said, it's a solid 4 ⭐ establishment. They have peaty Scotches, which is unusual. It is overrun by tourists, but locals are there as well.

We were recommended this Trattoria by our hotel and found it fabulous. The food was excellent - between the 2 of us we tried 4 different dishes. The open kitchens with the wonderful chefs only add to the experience. The interior was fabulous as was the service. We also ordered a good bottle of wine. Would absolutely recommend this trattoria

Not too far from the beautiful Arno River and the lively Ponte Vecchio bridge...great for a night walk after a good meal. This upscale restaurant is busy. They do reservations, but I happened to show up "at a good time" without a reservation. Table for 5 people. The menu is simple enough to understand, translation in English under each title. The kitchen is not far from any table, so you hear a bell ring when a plate is ready to be carried to a table, ie the food arrives hot and picturesque. Just smelling the steam is delicious, the taste boosts up the experience. They have ice to go with your water or Sprite, and a large assortment of wines. If you speak Italian, the chef can spend time at your table for conversation. They do not seem to rush you off the table. Service was attentive and very courteous. The staff all genuinely help each other for improved efficiency. Besides Italian, Spanish, French and English are spoken by the staff. A welcoming pleasant atmosphere. Easy to talk amongst the family. Despite the "haute cuisine", it was kid friendly. Did I mention, it looks good, it smells good, it tastes good, meat so soft it falls off the bone. Decent size portions. No atmospheric music, or dim lighting to interfere with the chef masterpiece.

Excellent food, the chef is very friendly, and every time we dine there, he gives us a warm welcome. The service is a shame; the waitress seemed annoyed, and the owner was beyond reproach. When we walked past the counter, we greeted him and thanked him, but he didn't even bother to return the greeting; he was too busy offering drinks to foreign customers...and it's not the first time. If it were up to him, we definitely wouldn't return.

Excellent restaurant with great food! The price-quality ratio is good. I recommend it, and don't forget to book, especially in the evening.
