Excellent food, good service, nice atmosphere

An evening spent with friends at the Trattoria I Ricchi in Cercina, famous for its fried food. The atmosphere is very charming, well-kept, and typical of a Tuscan trattoria. The location is splendid, and during the day you can see Florence from above. We tried fried chicken, rabbit, and brains. Unfortunately, the brains were limited because they had no more, and the fried food was good but absolutely ordinary, with nothing new. The batter was very special and light, with no excess oil. The sliced ​​steak with truffle was good. The truffle, scorzone and out of season, wasn't very fragrant. Excellent service, and the owner was kind and helpful. We didn't get much cantucci with vin santo at the end of the dinner because they had already run out of those.

The food is excellent; if the dining room is full, the wait can be longer, but every dish served is a guarantee (the homemade pasta is a MUST). Extremely kind and helpful staff, a must-try for Florentines. Excellent value for money (not only for the food, but also for the wines).

The dining room has a rustic and refined atmosphere. The veranda offers views and sunlight. The dishes are generous and traditional. The price is more than fair for the quality and quantity offered. The meat was truly excellent. Recommended.

A truly interesting place nestled in the green Florentine hills. If you want to make a good impression with friends who may be visiting from out of town, this is the perfect place. Authentic cuisine, exceptional wine, and friendly staff are the perfect combination for a relaxing meal. The tagliolini al limone (their signature dish) are particularly delicious, and the fried food is also a highlight on the menu. Definitely worth a try!
