18/06/2025: June 18, 2025. We were there on Friday and unfortunately it was closed and didn't look like it was open - such a shame :( It's a place to feel good, very family-oriented, definitely worth the trip - and all the food was delicious *****

13/07/2025: We really like this place for breakfast. Their strength is service, so far all staff have been very kind with us. I recommend trying the ‘pan d’arancia’, it is divine. I don’t really like their croissants any more, I think they’ve changed their original recipe. But the rest is all good.

26/08/2025: We come in their work hours and it was closed. Maybe one is coincidence but 2 is irresponsibility. If you do not open your Shop between the hours you said just delete that hours.

17/09/2025: The chicken is always delicious and a good size, the sauce is delicious, and the baked and fried potatoes are excellent! Plus, you get free small pieces of rotisserie (mini pizzas and arancini)—very good! Recommended!

27/09/2025: A lovely place with a view of the Teatro Massimo, reasonable prices for an aperitif considering the area, their salsa is amazing and the blonde girl at the counter is really nice, we'll be back!

30/09/2025: I was very satisfied with my experience at Zancos. It's a place suitable for all occasions, both formal and informal. This time, we decided to celebrate a family member's birthday. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout the service. I'd particularly like to mention the sandwich with a beef burger, cheese, mushrooms, white truffle cream, and arugula. I highly recommend it! A mix of ingredients that really go together. You can also choose between fries or grilled vegetables (for an additional fee) as a side dish. The restaurant also offers cuts of meat, such as Angus, as well as a wide selection of appetizers. The Zancos fries with aged Parmigiano Reggiano cream and bacon are definitely worth a try.

18/09/2025: I go to Palermo for work three or four times a year and stop at my sister's place, which is 100 meters from the restaurant...
I have to say, I'd never been before, and it was a surprise because the food is really good!
Reasonable prices, portions that are good for two...
I had a heifer accompanied by rice and vegetables with sauces, everything delicious!
The potatoes were also superb, perfectly seasoned with sauces and speck.
Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: A very welcome stop for us every time we're in Palermo.
Uncle Totò used to be number one, but today I was delighted to meet his wife and nephew. The latter even made us a porchetta sandwich that exceeded our expectations (worthy of Uncle Totò).
Fantastic panelle.
Highly recommended if you're in Palermo.

22/10/2025: I'm a loyal customer of yours, but I'm reluctant to tell you guys that there's something missing. The goatee is excellent, the dough is excellent, but nothing, or even a hint of ham or mozzarella. My favorite part is the baked donut, a disappointment 😞 with the cream, even that one is very bland.
