19/10/2025: We came here to relax in a nice hotel with a beautiful view and a Michelin star rating. The road resembles a military road. The service was terrible: no one helped with our luggage, so we had to walk back and forth to the parking lot in the rain to get our suitcases. We got soaked, and the promised welcome drink never arrived – we waited half an hour for the bartender. They didn't explain where everything was on the property. The bathroom door wouldn't close at all (hello to newlyweds). There was a mouse running around the room. The hot water in the tap was lukewarm. Overall, even without considering the price of 400+ euros per night, this is the worst service we've experienced in Sicily in two weeks of traveling. It feels like the hotel isn't owned by Italians.

13/10/2025: On the recommendation of a friend, I had lunch at Susafa. I'm afraid it was a poor experience. It was in the outdoor restaurant whose canopy was a mesh with holes. When it began to rain, all the diners got wet. No umbrellas were provided. The chefs & waitresses stayed under their covered area & instructed the diners to go to the main dining room. In the dining room, no towels were provided but the diners were told that only the snack menu was available. In fact, only one item (a type of pasty) was being served. On asking for the bill, the first waitress took some time before telling me wasn't able to give it to me. All rather amateurish.

14/11/2025: Tables overlooking the sea 🌊 and therefore beautiful.. obviously! 😻 Pretentious service.. that is, I feel like a 'seaside restaurant' but I serve tiny sea urchins and salty mussel soup with tomato extract.. 😅 basically in Palermo dialect: "I'm struggling but I don't have the capacity"... a piece of advice: improve yourself with humility! 🙏

07/10/2025: Had a wonderful experience dining at Caponata. Dined on some absolutely delicious pizza and wine, by recommendation of a server at a near by wine bar. The service was absolutely wonderful, with staff members Valentina and Hamim being so kind and patient while I practiced my Italiano. Will absolutely be back next time I'm in Polarmo. Grazie Mille Caponata!

06/03/2026: The pizza was delicious, arrived quickly, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable. There's parking in front of the restaurant, but it's quite cramped. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2025: The fresh fries are good. The pizzas aren't exceptional, but average... A pizza rotation made up of Margherita, Margherita with cooked ham, and Margherita with fresh tomatoes.... No comment!

17/01/2026: The employees are really friendly, but the food was sadly not that great. It looks much better than it tastes; the yogurt wasn't the best (and for a place called Yogurtlandia, you would expect very high quality yogurt), and the flavours didn't mix at all, so you were tasting cold yogurt with a slight flavour on the side, but it didn't really work well as a combined dish for us. The bubble tea was also pretty bad.

23/10/2025: Tried to sell us milk instead of Yogurt. We especially ordered Frozen Yogurt. He hided what he's putting in just after asking 3 times he told us that this is cream milk instead of Yogurt. Be careful with this shop

23/02/2026: I had a delicious pizza, with a soft, perfectly cooked crust and all the toppings perfectly cooked. It arrived piping hot and tasted freshly made. The flavor was balanced and easy to enjoy. The service was pleasant, friendly, and uncomplicated throughout the meal. The restaurant is comfortable and has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a quiet sit-down meal. I found the prices reasonable for the quality. It's a convenient place to eat pizza and leave satisfied. I will definitely be back.

15/03/2026: I'm giving one star only because it's not possible to give zero. My daughter was here on a school trip to the GalHassin Observatory, and what she and her classmates reported was unacceptable. Although the service was fast, the quality and hygiene were scandalous: • Food safety: Expired ketchup and mayonnaise packets were brought in twice in a row. • Hygiene: One classmate found a hair in the first. Even worse, the kids saw the staff scooping up leftover sauce from the plates and putting it back on the serving plates. • Food quality: The breaded meat had a greenish color and leaked a yellow liquid when cut; the water served was already turned on and clearly tasted like tap water. • Equipment: The cutlery was practically unusable... forks that wouldn't stick and knives that wouldn't cut (perhaps a choice for the children's safety, but it made it impossible to consume the meal). The only "positive" notes (if you can call them that in this context) were the chips and ice cream. I hope the establishment takes serious action, because serving food in this state to children is shameful. Highly discouraged. March 15, 2026. Dear Pizzeria Smeraldo, I acknowledge your response, but there are some points that cannot be dismissed as simple "misunderstandings": 1. Water: Admit that the water comes from your water supply. The problem is that it was served in already-opened mineral water bottles. Serving tap water while passing it off as bottled mineral water is not "transparency," but rather unfair behavior toward the consumer. 2. Sauces: Calling serving expired products twice in a row (even after reporting them) an "oversight" is worrying. Food safety does not tolerate oversights, especially with children. 3. The meat: If the color was due to the curry, the yellow liquid that leaked when cut and the smell should have confirmed it. The students, however, reported a very different impression. Saying that "no one was hurt" is not a valid excuse for the perceived poor quality. 4. Recycling the sauce: This is not an allusion, but a direct testimony from several students present. If you are confident in your professionalism, you should better verify the dynamics in the kitchen rather than accusing customers of lying. Reviews are useful for reporting the experience. If this was the experience of an entire school group, perhaps it would be more constructive to apologize and improve rather than become defensive and arrogant.

08/03/2026: Got ripped off. No offer of any house wine after asking. Only the very expensive alternative. Did not know until the bill came. Pretty messed up. Can't trust them.

09/11/2025: I'd give it a zero but I can't. Walked in at 2pm on a Sunday for only 2 people, only wanting pasta and maybe lasagna. They told us they had no tables. There were tables all around, inside and out. So I went inside and asked in Italian pointing to multiple empty tables. They said nothing. Bad service. Bad ristorante. Find another place to eat. We did. Love Italy, love Sicily but some people don't want to be kind, courteous or friendly. Skip this place!!

30/10/2025: We searched high and low on the block vetween 57 and 67 and could not find this restaurant. Need better location information. Menu sounds great
