Historic bar with a workshop. Excellent coffee, desserts, and deli food. The baked calzone is a must.

One of the few bars—you can count them on one hand now—that makes the best OLD-FASHIONED IRIS, perfectly crispy... a true delicacy!! A Palermo tradition on the verge of extinction! A must-try! The entire interior of the bar definitely needs updating.

Opposite the hotel where I'm staying, this bakery was a discovery where I loved having breakfast, the café au lait is very good, never had it so good anywhere else and I loved the multitude of choices between sweet and savory. I highly recommend it, especially since a seller spoke to me directly in French and was patient in explaining the contents of each pastry chosen and recommended local specialties.

29/05/2026: High-quality bakery offering pastries, cakes, cookies, and a pizzeria serving focaccia and the ever-present sfincione. Excellent bread of various types. Last batch at 7:00 PM. Everything is delicious and highly recommended.

17/08/2026: We went for lunch and found the food to be a bit unfresh and strange in taste. The service was sometimes friendly, sometimes not. Overall, the place is nice, but the food leaves much to be desired. P.S. It's not worth going there as a tourist.
13/08/2026: Food was ok, very much average, not much taste. The service was terrible, the personell was unpleasant. They do not even try to understand foreigners. The older man taking our order was just messing with us for no reason pretending he doesn’t understand English. All people working there do not smile and have very angry faces. You as a customer feel like a burden to them. If you do not want us (foreigners) there it’s better if you just do not serve us from the start.
