08/10/2025: Pasta Lido (tomato, swordfish, eggplant, and monta)… amazing!! Generous portions, even for those with a trucker's appetite like me. Seafood salad… fresh Maiolino octopus. Lemon sorbet 🍋 #1!! Fried calamari… absolutely a must-try. All served with a sea view!

08/10/2025: Bought the chicken for the first time, delicious, excellent and the baked potatoes were special, the staff were very polite.

17/09/2025: The chicken is always delicious and a good size, the sauce is delicious, and the baked and fried potatoes are excellent! Plus, you get free small pieces of rotisserie (mini pizzas and arancini)—very good! Recommended!

23/09/2025: The restaurant is in a charming location. The food was good, but I waited an hour and a half for it! The guests who arrived after me were already leaving, and I was still waiting for my order. They charged me 3 euros for the final cost. I definitely won't be going back.

30/09/2025: I've dined there several times, and I'm very happy with the staff, the twins are charming, and the chef (owner) is friendly and pleasant, willing to go beyond the menu to satisfy your palate, and is truly professional. The food is good, from the pizza to the menu, and the price is reasonable. It's my favorite stop on every trip to Carini. TOP

18/09/2025: I'm a regular, often coming for the spleen sandwich, but today the service was terrible: three employees at the counter, the place empty, I repeatedly asked to pay immediately so as not to miss my train, and I was completely ignored. The sandwich was served raw and with day-old bread. This is not normal treatment, especially towards someone who has trusted and paid for it for a long time. I'm posting this negative review because I felt cheated, I got upset, and I even risked missing my train. If the place wants to make up for it with an adequate refund (not just the cost of the sandwich), I'll be willing to remove this review.

01/11/2025: -Sicilian tradition without artifice- A Palermo osteria with a friendly atmosphere and home-style cooking at a good price. We started with a prosciutto arancina, well-fried and generously stuffed, perfect for whet the appetite. The squid stuffed with carbonella was the highlight: tender, flavorful, and with that smoky Sicilian touch. The chicken and basil pizza was perfect, and the chicken salad was light and fresh. Friendly service. A quiet place, ideal for experiencing authentic Sicilian flavors without artifice.

20/10/2025: Just back home after a wonderful evening for my nephew's first communion. Everything was perfect, and everyone (really everyone) was satisfied. Full bellies and fun guaranteed! Reservations required. See you soon! 👋👋

19/10/2025: We came here to relax in a nice hotel with a beautiful view and a Michelin star rating. The road resembles a military road. The service was terrible: no one helped with our luggage, so we had to walk back and forth to the parking lot in the rain to get our suitcases. We got soaked, and the promised welcome drink never arrived – we waited half an hour for the bartender. They didn't explain where everything was on the property. The bathroom door wouldn't close at all (hello to newlyweds). There was a mouse running around the room. The hot water in the tap was lukewarm. Overall, even without considering the price of 400+ euros per night, this is the worst service we've experienced in Sicily in two weeks of traveling. It feels like the hotel isn't owned by Italians.

13/10/2025: On the recommendation of a friend, I had lunch at Susafa. I'm afraid it was a poor experience. It was in the outdoor restaurant whose canopy was a mesh with holes. When it began to rain, all the diners got wet. No umbrellas were provided. The chefs & waitresses stayed under their covered area & instructed the diners to go to the main dining room. In the dining room, no towels were provided but the diners were told that only the snack menu was available. In fact, only one item (a type of pasty) was being served. On asking for the bill, the first waitress took some time before telling me wasn't able to give it to me. All rather amateurish.

16/10/2025: The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy with a nice vibe. The food was absolutely delicious , full of flavor and beautifully served. A perfect spot to enjoy good music, great food, and warm hospitality!

24/09/2025: The little jazz bar is permanently closed, we broke our noses at the door. Disappointed.

26/10/2025: I had two starters for lunch: spaghetti with clams, but the clams had escaped because it was a flavorless mix of water and tomato sauce. The spaghetti with squid ink tasted like pasta with tomato sauce and water. Quite disappointed given the fairly high ratings. Forty euros for two starters like this and a bottle of water seems excessive, frankly. I would have preferred to pay fifty euros and at least have had some good starters.

08/10/2025: Excellent seafood lunch. Friendliness and courtesy complement a lovely seaside location.

15/09/2025: I went there with a group of about twenty biker friends. Even though we had "filled" the bar, the owners graciously, courteously, and attentively accommodated everyone's requests. Excellent coffee and desserts. Welcoming atmosphere. I recommend it.

07/10/2025: We had a mixed platter, which was delicious, but unfortunately, it came with too little bread. We had to wait a while to order, even though the bar was almost empty, and ended up with a larger platter than we ordered. We had to pay more accordingly. The worst part, though, was the plastic cutlery! Please leave it out and use proper cutlery.

21/10/2025: I asked for a sandwich without cheese (since I'm lactose intolerant), and they were very kind to make me one on the spot with tomatoes, anchovies, and olives. It was delicious! The desserts were also delicious! I tried an almond paste sandwich, and my friends tried ricotta calzoncini. Fantastic! Highly recommended!

02/10/2025: The food and hospitality of this location was absolutely first rate. The food was delicious, authentic, and inspiring. If you want genuine homemade Sicilian cuisine, this is absolutely the place to experience it.

08/07/2025: We only went there for a spontaneous dinner and were so greatly welcomed by the host family. Everything that we've ordered (plus some things on top that they brought us!) was so fresh & delicious!
